2. Yeah, not exactly a fan of this either. Mostly just gonna work on getting the biggest small-class monsters. If there was a way to target the exact stat you want, that would be great, but until then, not really worth except for the hardcore.

5. You can turn off auto save and just reset the fusion until you get the shiny. Usually takes less than 10 resets to get the sparkly. You can also get them from Eggs and egg monsters have a significantly higher chance to be shiny and L size, and many A rank monsters are competatively viable (Post game you can find Rainbow eggs, which have A rank monsters). Between me and a viewer we figured out the recipe to get a Lord of Dragonians (X rank) monster and I just reset it until it was sparkly. I got that to level 40 then re-synthed it to get a sparkly L Sized monster, which again took less than 10 resets. It's not that bad. As for PVP, flawless monsters like the ones he's describing are only going to be relevant in the upper echelons of the PVP, and unless they decide to take the game into full esport territories most of us will never need them.

   Another fun fact is this sort of save scumming works with both monsters found out in the wild (Turn off auto save and do a hard save before encountering a metal slime) and in the Mole Hole (Save in front of a high rank monster that you can only get to 5-10%, then reset until you succeed). Remember kids, 1% is not 0%.

8. If you're soft resetting for sparkling monsters, synthesize your target once, give it a metal slime card and screenshot the stats. The reset
   once the monster is sparkling, give it a metal slime card again and compare the stats to the ones from the previously made screenshot. 1 of the stats will have gained slightly more points and that's the boosted stat.

11. ive got 158 synths on my 40 hour play through and ive gotten 4 sparkly mons, 4th on being my most recent synth. i do wish the stat that was buffed had the symbol next to it so you know which stat it is :/

13. How does the stat boost affect offspring of shinies?

14. Perhaps one thing they could do is give the sparkly ones a unique a cool and unique additional pattern depending pattern on the monster depending on the boosted stat? Like jagged red stripes for an attack boost, or blue chains for a defence boost. You know, something like that.
