  1. The reason Goku was so worried about Yamcha specifically was that Trunks told him that in his future Yamcha comitted suicide. Cell also knows this, and ya notice how he seems to make it a point to be nicer to Yamcha over the rest of them?

  3. I just remembered, there's a video you should watch. It's called: TeamFourStar in DB Kai – Mr. Satan vs. Cell: The Movie! (Deleted Scene)

    For context: DBZ Kai is an official re-dub of DBZ that cut out most of the filler. TFS was invited to voice an in-universe movie based on the Cell Games (don't worry, there's no major spoilers). Unfortunately, most of their lines were cut from the final version, but the full un-cut version leaked online, and it's hilarious. It's like watching the DBZ cast react to DBZA

  8. Fun fact, the people in the helicopter were filler characters who fight cell but still live. TFS decided to just kill them off to skip that and then edited them out from every scene they're in from then onwards.

  14. They've referenced the King of the World being a dog a few times as it's just one of those ridiculous DB things that they just expect you to roll with lol.

    Like when Cell was absorbing cities in his imperfect form, the TV anchor was like "Now the libs are gonna cry racism over this one, but this is just what happens when you elect a DOG as king!". Tien also pointed it out at the start of last episode when people were evacuating cities and the military was getting wiped out trying to kill Cell.

  15. Cell calling Mr. Satan's daughter "that poor orphan" was the deepest cut because he was sincere about it.

    The people in the helicopter were actually Mr. Satan's trainees that fought Cell before Satan did. They didn't get killed at all, just knocked out of the ring like the rules of regular tournament. They were there for the rest of the fight with Mr. Satan and crew.

  16. Yes the Gold aura around them is there Super Saiyan aura, they don't have to transform to have the gold aura. Also Vegeta being silent was a shocking moment for us when we watched the original show too. Your reactions to it was so nostalgic, again of me and my older brothers watching dbz ☺. Cell put fear into Vegeta, Cell also having Freiza's dna and Saiyan dna and that being 20x more powerful in Cell. Vegeta felt all his energy and how limitless it was. Vegeta knew that Cell was holding back when they fought yet Cell defeated him like a child. Vegeta was also regretting a little, letting him absorb 18 and the fact that Cell barely touched Vegeta in their fight, i think that worried Vegeta a lot. We never saw him like this.

  18. The funny thing about Mr. Satan is that he isn't weak! By human standards, Mr Satan IS really strong. The man can punch through trucks! He just knows he can't take the people Goku and friends fight, but is in too deep with his career and fans to just admit he can't win.

  21. Puar is a shapeshifting cat, ex-desert bandit, and "sidekick" of Yamcha. Puar used to see lots of screen time in the original Dragon Ball (till near the end when Yamcha was also side lined). And "Tambourine" was a demon-namekian that killed Krillen back during Dragon Ball *snapped his neck*.

  23. Sadly Mr Hercule Satan's personality is…virtually the same as in the main series, I genuinely hate this character. One for slapping the world building in the face where everyone believed him that Ki techniques were "tricks" despite the original series establishing this world has magic, demons, and monsters all over the place, and his taking credit for things, and everyone just allowing him to take credit, yeah he sort of saves the world in a later arc via his goofines making him endearing to a childish monster, but otherwise every time he shows up its like a stab in the world building and just reminds you everyone not a main character is just an NPC in this series; there is no weight in blowing up cities when everyone is an oblivious idiot to what exists outside those cities and reacts the same way every time…its kind of like the extras in Marvel and DC comics, the citizens are just there to be saved, killed, point, or scream. Yeah my rant is…he is a reminder nothing matters but the main cast and world building is irrelevant anymore.

  26. If you look closely Trunks didn't have that golden aura. That's a super Saiyan thing / Has to do with super Saiyan like Perfect Cell thanks to the DNA.
    Cat was not a cat but a dog. He's king of the world, Tein, Krillin and Piccolo had a comment about him on the look out after cell announced the cell games, With the "Saskatoon T-rex".
    16 does still want to kill Goku at the end of his song he yells "Hello, My name is 16, may I please kill you". The song is just making fun of him waiting to kill him.

  27. I love Mr Satan he’s hilarious & he’s a great poser character . Chi chi’s concern for Gohan was really heartwarming she’s already lost her husband losing Gohan too would break her. Goku positivity & compliments about Cell is endearing in a way. Tien & Vegeta’s mutual hate is always hilarious. The team touching down was super hype Cell being nice to Yamcha is a nice change of pace. Android 16 hate for Goku is still entertaining

  32. It will become ever more perfect™. As for 16, it went from being programmed to kill Goku to liking to want to kill Goku. The androids all have the capacity to feel everything other people feel, Gero just skimped on 16's work on purpose so he wold only exist to kill Goku.

  33. Yeah, so the yellow aura is associated with super saiyan transformation
    And no trunks didn't had yellow aura when they were flying towards cell.
    In simple words Yellow hairs = Yellow Aura

  34. I think it's worth noting that Bulma didn't remove any programming from Android 16. He's a sentient android, just like Androids 17 and 18, and can make his own decisions. It was ultimately his decision not to kill Goku, which was driven by the love he had discovered for life on Earth.

  36. The "cat" with mustsche sitting in a trone is actually a dog, but not any dog, is the king of the world, literally, and by democracy as far as we know, but the king is never presented oficially in the abridged series because he was only important in the original King Piccolo saga.

  41. Trunks did not have the yellow aura. You probably thought that because he was behind Goku.

    Also, 16 did ask at the end if he could kill Goku, so that's obviously still in him.
