I think it goes without saying that what they’re doing is just… confusing.
Transforming Vegito Blue is a cool idea, since it’s only been shown in UVB’s intro. Weird how they made it an LF though, especially when we already know a Fusing Vegito Blue is inevitable. This guy sounds like he’d fit better as a banner unit or a unit that was already released before the 6th Anniversary. Also… why make him Ranged Type? Do they want us to play Blast Future and Fusion so badly?
Goku Black is just a case of them making a new version of an existing unit instead of giving a Zenkai to that existing unit because… they want to? Nothing new or special about his animations either, other than that funny part when he takes a hit to the gut and sends Vegeta to the Shadow Realm or something. I also don’t get why they (and Dokkan) like having Vegito and Black being parallel characters even though they never fought.
The Mai is a pretty standard, expected pick. Interesting how they’re adding a new Sparking version when they already made that Extreme version from 2021. Also shoving Weapon Wielder buffs down our throats. Sparking Fortnite is just there to sneak in some GT buffs, though they’re probably not too big of a deal.
Picking LF GRN Trunks seemed okay at first, but he’s not even buffing Vegito??? I was expecting him to be hot garbage and be a Zenkai buffing slave, but now they kinda have to make him good or else he’s just going to make the likes of Ultra Gohan and Saiyan Saga Gohan marginally better. Why not Zenkai Future Gohan and make him buff Black? They could’ve even gave the Zenkai to Gogeta (although I wouldn’t have wanted him to Zenkai buff God Ki so he doesn’t become the next Sapphire Protector of the Future). At least he doesn’t Zenkai buff Weapon Wielders though. Actually, that’s probably why they chose him; to buff Weapon Wielders.
But hey, Future buffs are Future buffs, and there’s still two more parts to this celebration.

Future makes sense because EVERY CELL has the future tag. Thats why it makes sense.
i’m not really hype for this tbh as 99% of these characters animations are recycled and only add marginal new animations to attempt to fit the “legends fest” hype criteria. it literally felt like i was watching a recap of previous future units when they showed their animations.

I didnt think that trunks was getting a zenkai but man he does need one. Never had a chance to shine so hopefully ifs a good one. And yes old man cell, the droids, and future gohan maybe would have been better but dont miss on this trunks again please
