After Karloff, Glenn Strange looked the best in the Frankenstein monster make-up. Even Jack Pierce, the make-up artist who created most of the Universal monsters, said that Strange had the perfect face for the monster. If you were a "monster-kid" growing up in the 1960s, it was mostly Glenn Strange's Frankenstein image that was used in the marketing of toys, models, magazines, board games, etc. during the "monster craze" of that era.
2:41 Guess whoβs Not a male feminist π
As a kid I geek spasmed watching the Wolfman fight Dracula! This was a special era of moviemaking where fan service came across as almost completely accidental. These days we wouldβve gotten a three-way fight between Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Wolfman lol although I wish that was the case I appreciate this scene in itβs originality just the same!
These Guys are classic Costello was the True showstopper excellent comedy.
Costello: Well, we got'im.
Also Costello: Fucking dies
Even in human form talbot is quite tough
Is this the only film Dracula and wolf man fight?
It was movies like 'Abbott and Costello Meets Frankenstein' that helped make us younger kids brave enough to watch them.. when l was growing up
A must watch every october. Maybe the best classic movie monster of all time because it encompasses everyone. Glenn Strange scared the heck out of me when I was a kid. Such an awesome classic
Dracula's reaction when Chick accidentally knocked henchwoman out π
This is like running around the police department in resident evil 2π
This was Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Michael for your grandparents.
Re-Watching this scene again and again, Cassandra. Really had it coming!!! (2:41) for helping, Dracula. and trying kill a good man like, Wilbur. Frankenstein's Monster. made the Most shocking and satisfying kill in The Universe Era.
Was the Hugh JakmanΒ΄s Van Helsing a tribute to this huge scene????…
