Resources I'd give each…
Dr.Eggman's person: Inherently Impressive Strength, Laser Pistol, and Jetpack.
Egg Mobile: Egg Walker artillery and wrecking sawblade from Forces.
Mechs: Death Egg Robot and Egg Dragoon.
Heavy Hitters: Metal Sonic(no Neo nor Mecha) and potentially Sage. We don't really know what she's capable of outside Cyberspace, beyond basic lasers and phasing through matter. Oh, and also an Egg Breaker(badnik version) for good measure.
Forces: Egg Fleet, manned by Egg Pawns, Flappers, and Hammers.
Cannon fodder: Basically every badnik that appeared in Sonic Frontiers.
Bowser: You've already said. So long as it wasn't a one-off gimmick power, anything goes.
Heavy hitters: Bowser Jr.(+Shadow Mario), Kamek, and the Koopalings.
Personal Vehicle: Koopa Clown Car
Forces: Doom Ship fleet.
Cannon fodder: Goombas, Koopa Troopas, Spinies, Shy Guys, Bullet Bills, Monty Moles, and Pirahna Plants. Cheep Cheeps and Bloopers too if there's water involved.
Slightly more impressive cannon fodder: Lakitu, Hammer Bros., and Dry Enemies, namely Dry Bones.
Honesty, no matter who wins, I will not be disappointed as long of the battle is good. As a fan of both of these series, I can see how both of them have win cons.
hey people remember eggman has a super form with the phantom ruby prototype thanks to the otherworld comedy comics which are cannon and also talked about in twitter takeover which is cannon as well
As someone who prefers the Mario franchise over the Sonic franchise I'm personally fine with either character wining because both these villains are fun villains
