I humbly disagree with him on this topic because in the book of Leviticus 27:30-32 God clearly stated that the tithe belonged to him. It was God who gave the Levite permission to receive the tithe contrary to what he just said that it was Moses who decided to give the tithe to the Levite.
Tithe existed before the commandment.Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek this happened before the commandment.
The problem with the present dispensation is that there is a lot of confusion among Christians due to a lack of understanding of God's mind, lazy Christians and a satanic attempt to destroy Christianity – (Only such a valuable faith can be attacked in this way). Note that it had been written in the bible that a time will come when Christians will no longer endure sound doctrine, the lack of which is being expressed by this speaker. Abel Damina is one of those speakers who express and promise liberty, but who lead people into captivity – he is using craftily devised tactics and or knowledge and philosophy to distract people, just like he is doing right now, from the truth and distorts the bible. This has been easy to practice because the issue of tithe has been problematic due to the seeming difficulty which paying it has brought, and especially because people have not been schooled to love God before thinking of giving to God or at least give to God out of a loving heart. However, the principles and promises that attach to the paying of tithe, I believe, is not working for some of us because the state of the heart through which this is given is not right before God – this might be sin which God will not overlook, etc. The tithe is similar to paying taxes to government, while the tithe is that loving expression to God based of faith – one is for taking care of the country, while the other is for administration of the Church. This issue of the tithe has been abused by some Christian leaders, but that does not mean that it should be cast down and out. It still remains one of God's commandments to us as Christians. Jesus spoke about tithing to the Pharisees and there is the account of Abraham paying this to Melchizedek. God does not need our money or personal effects, but He needs us to obey the principles / traditions that have been laid down, just as He, God, tithed His own Son for us. The tithe is something that the Holy Spirit also convicts us of (John: 16.33) and I have my own personal experiences on this to known that there is an expectation for loving and obedient children to adhere to tithing "If the first portion [of dough offered as the first fruits] is holy, so is the whole batch; and if the root (Abraham, the patriarchs) is holy, so are the branches (the Israelites)." Though the Church has partly fallen into the hands of those whose God is their belly and or Cretans or liars, let us be careful not to fall into the hands of those who use manipulative words or seeming witchcraft to twist not just the bible but our minds. Be led of the Holy Spirit and a deep conviction based of truly divined spiritual knowledge.
