Example.. An unemployed girl with Rs. 0 ( zero )salary will marry a man with Rs. 50,000 salary man.. But, an employed girl with Rs. 50,000 salary is only ready to marry a man with atleast Rs. 1,00,000 salary.. To, attract such a high salary man she has to offer huge dowry.. Because the unemployed women from rich families are also competing with her to marry the same rich man by offering dowry. So, to marry these rich men, the educated women have to offer more dowry than the unemployed women from rich families.. So, as the education and salary of a woman increases, her demands of the salary of her future husband also increases and her father ends up offering much more dowry for his employed daughter when compared to her unemployed sister.. Also, these women are not ready to marry the poor low salary handsome men who don’t want any dowry…

We have to think how dowry started and why still people doing , and it causing problems even if we are 21st century humans are not thinking right. In Islam why we give daughter dowry because of almighty the creator told us to honour 🎖 the girls when they are connecting other soul and give dowry if you have as small as possible if you give more no problem. No pressure if don't have no problem too you can maried and letter in life time you can give .I wish I can explain my language.

I am so happy i was not born and brought up in India. My father emigrated and married a local indian woman and did not follow the dowry nonsense. We are multiracial so not great a pressure that girls must be married, give dowry and bear 10 children 😅
