On the crew’s last evening, Jace, Blake and Marcus find a strutter and his hens making their way to the roost.
After sneaking close to the suspected roost tress, the group watched the birds slowly move into range. Finally, with mere minutes left in the hunt, Blake was able to close the distance and pull the trigger on his first Montana Merriam’s.
