Smashing battle Pope! I think that the Spartan-style riverguard unit model is based off of a similar Khazad dum dwarven unit in third age: Reforged called the 'sons of the fallen.'
Didnt expect that this battle would have been covered! It didn't go the best way in my opinion there could have been ways to improve it(we the attackers didn't really understand when we could ingage them, as we could see all the hidden units), but happy you still covered it!

cool battle but i agree with you pope. I dont like how the attackers would go off the road and get flanking attack on the ambushers. Kinda not fair, honestly the Darwinian player should have been able to retreat back into the forest and then rejoin up with the dwarves.
kinda wasnt fair how the cav when into a deep forest to charge my cav but netherless it was fun to play and whatch
Sad to see that my teammate didn't properly supported me in the first ambush fase (ambush the enemy from both sides)
Not a fan of the scenario, a lot of wasted units, maybe the rules should have been defined better but the Dorwinian players should have pulled back after the initial contact as he was just overpowered and lost his best units with little to show for it. Maybe the attackers should not have been able to move into the forest before a certain time limit or something. Cavalry easily picked off skirm units with full ammo. Either war Dorwinian player wasted loads of Avari and crossbow units, maybe pulling back to the dwarven line would have made it a closer battle. Fun to watch but too easy for the attackers.
I know Khand won the battle, but why is Khand so damn weak with their infantry. I get that they’re meant to be a car faction but there is nothing in lore that says Khand has weakling infantry. I would think they should have some good axemen mainline infantry since that’s the only thing said about them in the books.
I think Khand should get a infantry buff and get some good hybrid units, and some standard axe infantry that can hold the line for awhile and make them more viable in sieges.
Great upload pope. Hmmmmmm im really not sure about khand. I am in awe of the devs as they do truly amazing work but did they have a brain fart. What is khand supposed to be. They remind me of a rubbish rohan without the infantry. Who would want to play them. All aspects are really weird. No one would want to play them. They have really no way to play. Their few good units are way to expensive and too small unit numbers for them to be able to compete. What are they supposed to be, range? Infantry? Cav? Also they have wainriders so wheres the chariots. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism by the devs as like i say im so impressed with what the devs do. What do you think fella
