We have been getting more new folks finding our videos lately which is great but I’ve also had to delete a few rude comments. Just a reminder to please not be a Billy John https://youtu.be/kMbLImbrjgQ?si=3-36P7fDpYL6kYvO
We’re sooo aware of our liability when it comes to our psychotic blue heeler. He never leaves our sight. I think about that when dogs run out at you. He’s not a worry for anyone. I mean except us. He drives us bat💩crazy but we love the little freak.
What awesome trail angles!! That is such a treat for you, home cooked food, shower etc… I can’t understand why anyone would be rude on your videos! Totally uncalled for! I enjoy every video you have ever put out and I appreciate all of your hard work putting them out. Take care and stay safe! Say Hi to Taters for me. God bless 😊
You seem to be blessed with some terrific trail angels, makes the incredible journey of a cross country trek so interesting and way tolerable.Be safe sleep well thanks for never giving up
Nice one ! Big thanks to Dory and her husband for taking care of you ! I know all to well how you feel after hiking several days in the rain .So far we have had 8 months in a row of record rain in Europe . My last hike turned short : after a week of hiking in the relentless rain (forecast was just for passing little showers) i had to quit. The only things that where dryish : sleepingbag and electronics.Same tric as you : waterrepellent backpack, waterproof liner and dcf bags.Every bit of clothing was sodden. I'm seriously looking for an umbrella !Good luck and keep it on.
How do you have USAA? I got them as soon as I was on active duty as an officer. That was 48 years ago. Nasty trail sections. Wear gloves, a mask, and cover all skin when treating with Permethrin or you will feel a little sick for a couple of days after. I hope that you treated your shoes and hat too. Glad that you did the treatment. The diseases that ticks carry are very nasty and sneaky. If untreated, because of mild symptoms, they can do permanent damage to you. Nice video. Good Luck, Rick
I've been binge watching for four days trying to watch all these ADT hike videos. I'm finally caught up. As a resident of Indiana and who would have been fairly close by if you had decided to take the northern route, I can tell you the southern route in Indiana will likely be very similar to what you're experiencing now. The northern route would be much more flat and much more heavily populated. I've been enjoying the videos quite a lot.
Thanks for your videos, it's my morning coffee routine. I don't understand dog owners who don't have fences, to keep their dogs in. So irresponsible and a danger for their dogs as well. I've got two dogs. Makes me angry to see badly trained dogs, if you get a dog, learn how to train them! They will have a much nicer life, being able to socialise properly.
Yay ! new video!!

I don't have much faith in the invisible fences as I have seen too many dogs ignore the shocks and go thru the fence
I think you meant Sinking Spring. Sulphur Spring is in northern Ohio.

I hope you're looking forward to Western Kansas where you'll have endless sun and dry
Now THAT is a great end to the day!

Hey Matt! A good day to be through!
Such awesome people, hats off to them for helping hikers! Thanks for sharing your adventure as always 😉
Shout out Dori and hubby! Glad you were able to get a shower, laundry, home cooked food, battery recharge and Permethrin treatment break, Matt.

That trail is rough in a wet late spring
Do you record a gpx track or is that not worth the hassle and battery drain?
You should be back in Louisiana, we are only in the low 90s with humidity highs in the 80s. Not even close to your visit last summer. Good luck!
😎✌
Thank you Dori! Glad you day ended with some comfort.
Man your dog hating is getting old. I will dislike any video you keep trashing dogs.
Box Turtle on the Buckeye just posted a video yesterday walking through that cabin!
Few years ago picked 22 ticks off my legs at the family dollar there.
