Welcome to 2004 for the first part of an epic gaming experience.
This is Doom 3, developed by id Software 20 years ago and it wasn’t until I saw a friend playing this in the barracks that I knew this game was destined to be one of my favourite games in the series.
I do intend to present this game in about 3 – 4 large segments rather than smaller videos, more of aa feature length video to enjoy each time!
What is Doom 3?
Doom 3 is set on Mars in 2145, where a military-industrial conglomerate has set up a scientific research facility into fields such as teleportation, biological research, and advanced weapons design. The teleportation experiments open a gateway to Hell, resulting in a catastrophic invasion of the Mars base by demons. The player controls a space marine who fights through the base to stop the demons attacking Mars and reaching Earth.

The mission continues at “Doom guy” breaches and clears his way through the Enpro plant to gain access to the Communications Tower. After refusing to call in backup from the fleet he pushes onwards to Delta Labs through the Recycling plant and Monorail.
