Rita takes her family to visit her dying father, who lives out in the county. Soon after arriving, they realize everyone in the town has vanished. They go from house to house, unable to find any sign of life. They learn that something has escaped from a local testing facility, killing everything in its path. The monster will soon be out for them unless they figure out a way to survive the night.

  1. This was horrible. This family had no sense of self preservation. If you learn sound is the component to danger then, the obvious is to not make noise or use noise to trap and kill.

    Also, I'm not sure if it's the claws, bite or fluid but one or all infect you with some sort of eggs. Though the ones coming out of grandma look like spiders.

    The idea behind this movie had potential, the execution failed. Very early on I was like can we just kill them all off they all have a death wish. Only one I was sorry to see die was the father.

  2. Don’t understand. But the only thing these people can do is cry, being scared. And scream, then be killed.
    Maybe it reflects the Americans who are scared, being shut up, and be ruled by the tyranny, and finally we will vanish.

  4. Thanks to the monster, they all screaming for nothing, all we know is if you make noise you'll die… But then they all keep screaming till movie ends…(except for dad sorry for him he tried his best to protect his family).

  5. You'd think they could have concocted something better than that thin wire/ cloth mesh from a hardware store for the cocoons. Some beautiful & great scenes though. Excellent photography. Very dumb decisions they made & got super fed up with the overacting of that kid. I'm sure they chose him due to his 'emotional eyes' & such but Jayzusss…Wayyyyy too much.
