  1. Hey everyone! Thank you for watching!

  2. How’s the smell of the denatured alcohol? I haven’t been able to use iso because it gives me terrible headaches. Water washable’s been ok… but it warps a lot during curing.

  3. I'm a cheap ass that uses a 4 dunk wash. 1 dunk in murky Methylated spirits, 1 hot water dunk and support removal, 1 dunk into clean Methylated spirits and then a final rinse in clean water. That said though, I need to dry with cloth and brush or cloth and blow gun (cold) before curing to avoid the cloudy spots on cure. Might give this a shot when feeling less cheap. Just found Methylated spirits to be easily accessible from the supermarket, cheap as chips and lasts long enough when spread across multiple baths.

  4. An idea for a next video, how to clean your 3d printer when it's all sticky ?
I've always been thorough with the cleaning and used 99% IPA but it's still sticky.
Will denatured alcohol do the trick, something else ?

  5. Denatured alcohol / Methylated spirits is basiclly isopropanol with some added components so you can't drink it ( Tastes bad ) and slightly different ratio of the Isopropyl. Denatured alcohol refers to alcohol that has additives in the product in order for it to be sold as a non-consumable and non palatable product. I use what we call Methylated spirits , it cleans nicely and is way cheaper in Australia than Isopropyl. denatured; denaturing (ˌ)dē-ˈnā-ch(ə-)riŋ transitive verb. : dehumanize. : to deprive of natural qualities : change the nature of: such as. : to make (alcohol) unfit for drinking (as by adding an obnoxious substance) without impairing usefulness for other purposes. So i think we could call Butter Milk bob denatured (Dehumanize, obnoxious and without usefulness for other purposes other than attacking , crying and generally being annoying )

  6. @CommissarGamza I noticed you scraping the build plate, you can skip having to deal with having to struggle with scraping it off if you use a mag plate add-on you can get off amazon or ebay lets you hot swap into another print when you pull the mag plates off.

  7. Any high purity alcohol will work. Methyl Hydrate is 99.9% pure alcohol and should work even better. It's less than $14 for a gallon in Canada, so would probably be about $9 USD. Any methanol will work, it's all alcohol based.

  8. Yo Gamza, Frog Man here. Happy New Year first of all, and do you think you could put together a complete guide to 3D printing miniatures for beginners? I think that would be a good video, although it might take a while to gather footage of every step of the way. Keep up the good work!

  9. Never had an issue with IPA, but I've always used a two step washing. First step is to get off all the heavy resin deposit and the second step a rinse. Only have issues with sticky models when the rinse alcohol needs changing. Works for me.

  10. It's called methylated spirits in my country. There's not much of a price difference either. I'd wear gloves when handling either, as they're not pure and contain a trace of toxic stuff like benzene and methanol.

  11. It's easy enough to filter that denatured alcohol. You just can use any paper filter from any where. He'll you can use coffee filters!

But I'd still buy/build a setup that has cheap filters just for convenience. Plenty of chemistry sites out there for this stuff. 😄

  12. Hey I bought some of it, How long do you run it in the wash and cure station for and do you dump the miniatures in a bath of something else before or do you leave it in the container?
