You should not need any fertilizer for 2 to 3 months using that Happy frog, and I would add a little bit more perlite to the mix too. Happy roots, happy shoots.
fyi. fox farm is being produced on an old mill property covered in pcbs! look it up in the California dept of toxic substances control website. don't grow your food in anything not omre organic certified. omre checks for that shiznit. usda just looks at current practices not site contamination
Live soil is the best thing you can do to grow I haven't bought soil in over 5 years just make my own with my worm farm and my aqua garden that's aquaponics take the used fish water to mix in with the worm compost best soil you can use
You're wrong. Organic gardening involves feeding the bo life in you're soil which breaks down the organic fertilizers you're using. The bio life then feeds your roots. Sorry, it doesnt "wash out"
Be carefull with seedlings or young plants if you are using FF/ Ocean Forest. Allegedly it's hotter than it used to be by them adding a synthetic soluble fert. People have had some of their stuff struggling. Happy Frog is the best one they have. Low safe and slow wins the tasty food.
what was the point of your "compost".. then.. adding fertiliser.. or was your "compost" just decayed wood mulch as the sell at some "garden centers".. thats not gardening !
Would it be better to put the fert in the hole where the plant is being planted?
Oops! I usually put the fertilizer in the bottom of the whole where I’m about to stick the seedling I thought the roots would want it nearby
Volume is low on this one
Very quiet

A 5gal. What pouch? Anyone.
So a bag of premium potting soil and a handful of fertilizer and you get a cauliflower? I'm afraid you're losing around $6 a piece…
I want to grow more cold crops this year
Not good at gardening. I'll try this. Plus our neigh ors cat kept pooping in my garden and flowers so I think I'm going to try this.
What kind of fertilizer??

Watching these garden videos make me depressed, because it’s currently -20 with like 40cm of snow. I miss the garden 🪴 😣
Of course, my friend 😂

Fertilizer is the cherry on top got it!
No, this encourages shallow roots
No perlite or vermiculite, or similar items needed for garden bags?
Good tip
Foxfarm is good stuff

I actually mix mine in because my dog would eat it all otherwise 😂 I do a mix of slow release and B&B
Thank you for the tip on the fertilizer…
