  1. If the UK government kills cash by 2035 and banks are allowed to close customers' accounts it would then be possible for citizens to be employed and earning a living yet have no money or credit and no way to spend their income.

  2. One way to fight back is to go into shops, load up a shopping trolly with as many different items as possible and, when you get to the tills, if they refuse to take cash, tell them that in that case you won't buy the goods. Then they'll have to put on more staff to take the stuff out of the trolly and put it back on the shelves.

  5. Didn't a bill get passed a few months ago saying this can not happen for a minimum of 20 years. Typical posh folk, can't add up or follow the rules.

  6. People still trust the government after the co/id jibba ja££a.
Maybe they are unable to function without being told what to do and how to think.

  7. What will happen is you will have to buy a gold chain and cut it up and use it instead of cash that's one solution but a cashless society is bad for ordinary people and poor

  8. How can there be no cash, when the cash represents the economy….doesn't it? Or maybe we can make our own money. No one will give me cash for my jewels, which are supposedly worth something. This is not the 1700s we are living in! Closing ticket offices….there goes another Human job! Wakey, wakey.

  9. Plus people who cant afford smart phones, they Will have problems with a cashless society too. I give my family cash for Christmas, its not just old people that do it, a lot if people all ages prefer cash. Its businesses and government whi wants it. They can control us. Covid increased the use of cards, not buy choice.

  10. If there's no cash, how would people be able to buy n sell second hand stuff off each other?
How would places like fairgrounds and street markets operate?
how would window cleaners and such like survive?
How would people do cash in hand 'guvys' ?
How would you borrow a couple of quid off someone, and so on and so on….
