Similar numbers have since been killed in Gaza and more than 260,000 people have been forced to flee their homes as Israel prepares for a possible a ground invasion of the besieged territory. At least 1,100 Israelis have died since Hamas launched a deadly attack on Israel on Saturday, at least 1,100 Palestinians, including 326 children, were killed in Israel’s retaliation
