Donald Trump to appeal against 'rigged' conviction

Donald Trump has said he will appeal against his criminal conviction for falsifying business records – insisting he paid a “legal expense” and there was “nothing illegal”.

He later attacked Joe Biden, calling him “the dumbest president we’ve ever had”, labelled the gag order imposed during the hush money trial “nasty”, and tested its limits by taking aim at his former lawyer Michael Cohen.

Speaking at the White House two hours after Trump’s news conference, President Biden said it was “reckless, dangerous and irresponsible for anyone to say [the trial] is rigged just because they don’t like the verdict.”

  1. This man is a businessman not president. He thinks about only his needs and popularity. He has done nothing good for USA and World previous. He only shared rasism and hate.

  2. I think he is being relentlessly attacked. It is a threat to justice if one is sentenced over supposition as to what one has done. It is a shame he was sentenced with creations. Going by it then everyone who truthfully says a place was bad using google review, can be sentenced for libel.

  3. I'd love there to be in-depth interviews with poor Trump supporters who regularly donate. I'd like to be persuaded they are not acting against their best interests.

  4. Isn't it amazing how everything is rigged against a person that was born into wealth? Born with a silver spoon in his mouth and started his career with a million dollar loan from his father? Uphill battle?
