It’s hard to believe that tonight marks the 400th episode of Dogman Encounters. It seems like just yesterday when I was prepping Episode 1 to air, on August 22nd, of 2015.
Due to tonight’s show being the 400th episode, it’s going to have a different format than most episodes. Instead of interviewing the guests, on tonight’s show, I’m going to air their encounters without asking them any questions, on tonight’s show.
Tonight’s 1st guest, Scott Matthews, had his 1st Dogman encounter while he was hunting chestnuts, with his brother and a friend, when he was 7 years old, just outside the Village of Wherstead, in Ipswich, Suffolk, UK. He had a 2nd encounter several years later that was much more traumatic though.
Tonight’s 2nd guest, Barry, has had multiple Dogman Encounters, but Dogmen aren’t the only cryptids he’s had encounters with. You see, While Barry has had quite a few encounters with Dogmen, he’s had many more encounters with Sasquatch than he’s had with Dogmen. On tonight’s show, Barry’s going to share all of his Dogman encounters with you, but later tonight, at 11 PM Eastern Time, I’m also going to air an episode of My Bigfoot Sighting, where he talks about some of the experiences he’s had with Bigfoot. Dogman in Ipswich? I know the area pretty well and am far from convinced that we have either Bigfoot or Dogmen in the UK, but thats not to say they aren't here, I just haven't seen anything as yet to convince me. I have seen convincing videos of Bigfoot like creatures from other parts of Europe including France so maybe why not here? From London, UK

That was extra-specially fabulous this week; Scott's encounters happened only a 90 min drive from my place – not far at all at Dogman speeds. It really adds something to the episode when it happened so close by and forewarned is maybe not forearmed in this case, but I'd rather know I might see one than just see one all unknowing. Thank you to both contributors & thank you Vic for all that you do for these traumatised souls. I look forward to/dread (in equal measure) the next 400 episodes!

I’ve always been a bit sceptical when people say there are cryptids in the UK. But after listening to that first chap…..I absolutely believed every word 👍Thankfully it seems like that particular dogman just wants to be left alone and isn’t interested in attacking people or their pets. Let’s hope things stays that way 🤞🙏

Thank you to Vic and all the many witnesses and experts who shared their encounters. I'm from South Africa and listening to this show helped provided a much needed distraction and helped me pull through and complete my stressful Tourism PhD in 2021. By listening to the encounters I learnt so much about America's geography, history and the wonderful people who make up your great nation. I always googled the places mentioned by witnesses and discovered more about the USA. I will visit one day, hopefully.

I've been listening to DME for years trying to catch up from episode 1 to now. I'd listened to random episodes for a few years before I decided to start listening from the beginning – starting from episode 1 in early January 2018. After listening to a lot over time, taking a break occasionally, dealing with my crazy drunk housemate complaining about how she didn't believe in it and mocked me for believing (so resorting to headphones), and moving out last October, taking about 5 months off listening to it, until I've just spent the last few weeks listening to the last 30 or 40 episodes to catch up to this episode today! I can start listening to them on the weekend as they are released now! I've learnt so much about Dogman from these interviews – us listeners are certainly experts on them! Thanks Vic, the guests and all the listeners for creating a great positive community! By the way, I'm in Ballarat, Australia.

First time here. I live in Iowa now but spent 20 years in Colorado..hiking and camping as much as possible..often alone. No more! I won't hike anymore..will just read everyones stories here. I had no idea I was in such danger 😱

Congrats on your 400th episode. The 1st encounter . His description of the light being basically absorbed by the dogman is a common theme. I've listened to dozens of the same descriptions on multiple different channels. Totally different email encounters and phone encounters.

Been listening since Nov 2015. My father passed unexpectedly at 56 the first week of Dec 2015, and then my oldest bro at 37 a few months later in August of 2016.
This show has been a godsend. I cannot tell you how many nights I was able to get my mind off out of the dark places it tends to go and into the stories told here.
