  1. In 1982 I was in the pipeline for Navy AOCS. A co-worker my dad who was an Navy F-4 Driver in Vietnam and made the news being filmed hitting on the bomb ejection pads prior to a mission. One comment sticks out in my memory: The F-4 as rated for Mach 2+ but about 1.6 was the best it could do with ordinance. Unfortunately, the military was not taking my degree at that time.

  2. Any DCS pilots here? I fly this wonderful bird in the sim. It's fast, tough and like they said in the video, it can do any mission. I am by no means claiming I am anything close to the real deal, but I am as close as one can get from the safety of my chair. It is so fun to fly. A little challenging to take off and land, but every warbird has it's quirks and things unique to it alone

  3. Like the Best Equipment Operator's the Best Pilots or Shop Captons the Machines become a extension of your body. You can be operating something pretty much ready to be scrapped and out do something and some body new and more modern. I'm 55 and learned it from older people long since passed away. It takes time but it pays.

  4. Why was the American pilot flying a British plane? What A awesome Plane They still don't build planes like that. Anymore I guess it doesn't matter. As long as he was kicking ass for his country
