  1. me, who is trying to raise a bernese mountain girl of 5 month with issues regarding personal space: 😱πŸ₯°πŸ˜±πŸ˜πŸ˜± thankfully we have established boundaries around the door but she still struggles to keep all paws on the ground when greeting people – she just loves people and attention too much πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ we are working on that though… also on teaching our neighbours not to undermine our efforts because she is just so cute πŸ˜… right now, THEY are telling US β€žshe just wants to playβ€œ 🀣

  2. Oh my goodness I have never gotten to cuddle a Bernese mountain dog. It’s one of the very few I have not seen at the park or vet, ect. They just look so cuddly and squeezable, I can’t!

  3. This. This is my struggle. I work so hard to enforce 4 paws on the ground or no attention, but my puppy is reaaaaally having a hard time. I am patient. I will not cave. I can win this. Right? Please?

  4. While a big, friendly dog jumping up to greet people seems funny in theory, it can be pretty dangerous in practice. If you get a dog as huge and energetic as a Berner, you will likely need to spend a lot of time training them.

  5. Yes their very excited greeting is dangerous, but their innocent reaction with pure joy towards visitors is just so adorable!😭 I feel they're having great life with sweet family.
