  1. Sorry the driver was in the wrong. If you watched the driver when he destroyed the truck it would be clear how it was used beyond it's ability. Damm city boy's driving like clowns.

  2. Its tough for dealers right now tech wise. Alot of techs are basically getting sniped from local smaller dealers as they are offered big sign on bonuses to leave their dealerships. I know a few dealers that have this issue. Trans techs are rare and get sniped often.

  3. makes me very skeptical to off road my bronco ! No bronco off road parts "failure " history, means arguments with Ford/ Dealership. (that you might not win!) No parts inventory as well!

  4. Here in the States the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act which deals with after market parts and requiring Manufactures to prove that the after market part caused the failure off the covered component.

  5. Excellent points, Johnny and Dave. As you, I too would want this to shed more light. Have either of you seen, either before or after this story came to light, other stories about what it took to cause transfer case failures? Or, could either of you please share stories about purchasers who successfully won out by having dealers' decisions to deny warranty coverage get reversed or overruled by Ford after a dispute over any types of repairs?

  6. So his dealer that he purchased from had to send him to a different dealer. Should he also refer back to his purchasing dealer to try and get a little help fighting this? Or would that be a waist of time.
