Dodgers fans claim Padres don't owned them but it keeps happening.
This game finally proved one thing: Dodgers aren't gonna do SQUAT for the 3rd straight season and the 4th in their last 5. Kershaw can't bring himself to call it a career, 'Taxman' Roberts has completely lost the trust/respect of his players, and there's nothing even remotely close to a winning fire in this team anymore. Even with Betts and Freeman coming back, the same problems that have plagued this organization since the 2019 season are still firmly rooted in place. They need a Kirk Gibson mentality to shake up that "well-fed" clubhouse in the worst way right now and until one is finally brought in, they're not gonna win another WS title anytime soon. Padres actually did everything in their power to give their already formidable and driven ballclub every chance of winning themselves one this year and they should be fully commended for it! Great time to be a Padres fan right now, not so much if you're still pulling for the Blue Crew unfortunately…
