Over Sized Tires and Wheels Have No Business on Anything, Let Alone Offsets. That is Not the Way it Was Engineered. Causes Problems Across the Board, Gets Worse Over Time. People that Don't Understand Do it. Stupid
I bought a 06 2500 dodge and the previous owner told me there were no issues. Well i found out i had a death wobble that would rattle out your fillings when you hit a pot hole at 65mph. I upgraded the front end, dodge sells a.beefier oem kit. Then i put on oem size tires but i ride with E side walls not D. It had stock size tires but D side wall before upgrade. Death wobble is gone.
If you buy a big truck, be prepared to purchase quality parts. These trucks are costly to maintain. If you cheep out on parts like tires, you will pay more in the long run. Oil changes on a f250 is over 150$. Still cheeper than the engine.
I had stock wheels and tires on my dodge Ram and still had front end components wear out and I just drove on pavement! ๐ฎ Iโll be damned if I ever buy a Dodge again! ๐คจ The damn thang was only two years old! ๐ฉGod Damn!
Good to learn
Its a Chrysler product. What do you expect? I would think that a company that has been building vehicles for about 100 years would eventually get it right.
Had a similar problem on a front wheel drive car. Replaced tie-rods, tie rod ends, had the CVโs checked out, checked that the drive shaft were true and not bowedโฆ.Turn out to be the tires, big brand name that we didnโt think would present such a problem. Rhymes with Dunflop.
Tire for these trucks are stupid expensive for stock ones. Put 35's on and it's well north of $400.00 per tire. This is where guys cheap out and go with the cheap China crap and this is the end result.
Wouldn't having over sized tires affect the mileage and speed indicators? Bigger the wheels lower the mileage also?
Hey I have a great idea, lets take a truck that already gets crappy gas mileage and make it even worse with giant tires๐
It's a dodge
There is no hope
Itโs got GM mirrors on it too! Probably has a lot of other upgrades that shouldnโt be on there. Lol
My wife's shop won't even let a Dodge come in their doors. Won't touch them lol

I agree with you test driving the truck at highway speed. Almost all vehicles function well at 25mph, but when you are going 75mph not so much.
Road force data?
You should also ask the owner why did they put Chevy mirrors on their Dodge instead of Dodge Tow Mirrors
Big tough looking truck probably never goes off road. They just like โthe lookโ. Canโt say I blame them, looks cool. But at what price?
Water in the tires
It is a dodge enough said lol
The answer was in the clip of the tire spinning. It is out of round. You can see it hop
So itโs not dodge suspension? You said wheels and tires. All IFS suspension sucks.
If you're not offroading often, is it worth all the money and repairs to look cool. ๐ LOOK I GOT BIG TRUCK.
F250 right off the dealer lots for over a decade lol
I've learned to just leave things alone now.
Those front ends do wear and they had the death wobble
Big tires are for looksโฆ so hard on equipment. Get rid of them.
Balance beads are your best friend when putting little d*ick tires on.
Daves shorts are awesome
Had a 2002 dodge diesel, drove this truck 100,000 no problems never had to have front end work

Best way to keep a front end together is to get the alignment toe in then run a big track bar with little give.
Dodge front end isn't bad. They're just a bit inadequate from the factory and usually need steering stabilizer and track bar upgrades.
Plus people adding big dumb ass wheel spacers and that makes it 10x worse and really puts more pressure on every single thing.
Does this dope ever work on anything?
They don't call it a shitbox dodge for nothing.

Why does that dodge have chevy tow mirrors
This guys face always looks like hes scared in the beginning of the videos!
It says what to do on every side. Dodge.
230k ? Repace every component. Done.

thats the fad now and its the IN thing to offset the wheels and widen the stance all to hell. it looks as stupid as bell bottoms and a giant afro.

Itโs a dodge. Thatโs the issue.
This dude needs to build his own car lol he knows how to make everything else better. I for one would like to see it
230,000 miles, like it's nothing.
Dave, is it possible you could do a video on a TV cable adjustment for a GM 4L60E? Maybe?

The funny thing is most get all that shit and the truck never sees mud.
Carli sells everything to make that Ram what it should be. Nothing can compare.
