I was watching another channel where the person was using the Modera products, and it looked like it worked for her so I went on the site to look it up and omg it's soooooo expensive and yes I couldn't find a lot of info about the ingredients. I switched to their Canadian site to try and order one product I wanted but the products I wanted I could not find on their website anymore when I switched countries. I tried to find info on their shipping, and I thought maybe they don't ship certain products outside of the US- but could not even find any info on that. Their FAQ page was also not allowing me to open it as well. Suspicious…definitely avoid.

  3. When we eat collagen, don't we break it down in its aminoacids during the digestion? So what difference is there between taking collagen or supplements of aminoacids, vitamins and minerals?

  4. Is it REQUIRED that Vitamin C is included or consumed with the collagen or is it OK as long as collagen & Vitamin C are consumed the same day, for example, within 12 hours of each other?

  5. Hi Dr V, i saw that you have folic acid( synthetic form) instead of folate (natural form) and Cyanocobalamin (b12) instead of Methylcobalamin (b12) in your collagen product. I know it is better to consume natural ingredient rather than synthetic, especially for over a period of time.
    Is it save for long term use of the amount (%)of folic cid and Cyanocobalamin in your collagen product?

  7. No disrespect to you Dr Vanita, but this is a poor video. You want to focus on products that DON'T have additives, and are proven to be 100% tested collagen peptides. You don't want HA and Vitamin C in the product, you want to get those separately and you need to ensure the HA is high molecular weight, and again that it's third party tested to be 100% HA with no additives. Vitamin C supplements are not the full Vitamin C complex, so the best way to get true vitamin C is through raw fruit and vegetables. There's very litle vitamin C in juices, as they are usually heavily processed and heated, which destroys all the benefit. It's good that you are promoting collagen, but the best one's are those which are 100% pure with nothing else in them.

  8. I'm a Geneticist. Thankfully I am non-vegetarian. I make my own bone broth soup to get collagen and this is more cost effective. The powders in the market are all made from meat items whether they are from sea or land animals. And they are super expensive. So, all you pure veg people, remember that the powder you eat is all from Animal. Plants don't make collagen, they only help you to build collagen by pushing your body to produce your own collagen. Vegetarian collagen products only contain ingredients that will help your body to build collagen, inside the box there is no collagen molecule. Only the non-veg (animal based) collagen products have real collagen molecules because only animal bone gives quality collagen. Eggs do not have any collagen. This is why Korean and Chinese people have amazing skin. They drink bone broth everyday. You don't have to believe me, do you own research.

  9. I take vitamin c zinc d3 k1 as welll as my collagen I’ve seen a huge difference in the past year in my skin my hair even move up a quarter inch and my new sagging jowls disappeared

  10. I am currently taking vital proteins and a vit c effervescent . What would you recommend as a good quality multivitamin to supplement this to get other vits/minerals that you suggest ..
