  4. To anyone reading this who is currently pregnant with fibroids…YOU CAN DO IT!! It is amazing creating a positive community where we can uplift each other with this painful experience!! I had 3 small and 7 large fibroids from 2cm to 15cm causing a deformed bumpy pregnancy belly and agonising pain! In the moment, trust me I know its hard!! But when you will come out of it and have your baby you will realise how STRONG you are!! Trust me you will get through it!! You are already doing it 💕

  8. Please take it seriously. I had a laparoscopic surgery to remove some of the fibroids in 2019. They couldn’t get all of the fibroids due to their size but the 2 pounds of fibroids they removed helped improved my life. I felt better. My anemia got better, no more heavy bleeding or crazy cramps. Unfortunately, my fibroids are growing causing heavy bleeding. I also have fatty liver disease due to fibroids since they caused me to be insulin resistant. I was unaware that fibroids could affect my liver. Do your research on treatments but be aware they can return. This affects my quality of life, mental and emotional health. I did 9 months of medical menopause using Lupron which caused my hair to thin, bone aches, weight gain and awful night sweats. This was supposed to stop them from growing but it didn’t. I just wish that there was investment in researching reproductive health of women because this is important issue that isn’t treated like a serious health issue that it is.

  9. Jenny ukah… That’s great your feeling better. I had surgery with a Dr. Shira Varon in San Diego and it went great. I’ve healed Mickey and feel like a new person. I spent 5 years trying to shrink them with a team. Herbalist, healer, acupuncture, yoga, taking supplements etc…I was able to shrink them by 50%within a year but I became extremely stressed and they grew like crazy. I’ve come to learn that emotions play a part with our health. Our brain tells our body what to do. Controlling stress is number one. I Decided to have them removed since my husband and I are trying for a baby. If I can help with anything please message me anytime. Btw..berberine with pqq taken with green tea extract made a huge difference for me personally.💙

  12. Ladies – don't wait for time to deal with fibroids.

They can and will grow back – as long as there is a uterus.

    I0 years ago – I was diagnosed.
    My OB/Gyn back then-
    wanted to use an IUD.

I couldn't take birth control pills at 35 for blood clot threats and they felt the IUD would regulate the estrogen and pro estrogen and that would alleviate symptoms of fibroids.

So- I suffered in silence. I was very mobile in my job of cleaning. I love it.

Fast forward 10 years now and I am borderline diabetic and high blood pressure because my BMI is unhealthy because I feel and look 9 months pregnant because of the fibroids.

I did have a vaginal hysterectomy scheduled at beginning of pandemic and had gained legal custody of my 3 grand children – at the same time.

My grandchildren came first. They were twin 1 1/2 year old grand girls and grandson was 3 at that time. They came first.

In ones 30s and early 40s the risks for surgeries are real.

But at 45 now – I wish someone would have sit me down and told me the real risks.

    That fibroids retain fluid.
That fluid can leak into the body. And into the peritoneal area and cause acute pancreatitis from the excess fluid these things do inside of us.

The BMI will increase with growth- so – will the joint pains of knee and back and feet pain. Just like one endures with pregancy.

Bladder pressure and such occur also.

I stopped eating bread and all junk food.
Salads and fruits is all now. I have lost 20 pounds since the pancreatic swelling and flare ups occurred and it is because of the fibroids.

    Please don't wait.

Menopause is not a cure and fibroids are blood feeders and will produce internal edema.

And unfortunately – what they are not saying in this video is that yes – fibroids can be benign. But they can also actually be leoimyosarcomas too.

Research the facts of these things.

And the only way the doctors and surgeons find this out is upon pathology – after they are removed. Not before.

Because even if – one sliver of cancer cell eixsts; a biopsy may miss it and they will not know until after surgery and pathology is done on the cells.

    Please take care of you!

We don't have to always be the strong one and we don't have to put off our health for others

I would give my life for my grandchildren and now – if – I had got a second opinion years ago – at my first visit –
I wouldn't be suffering as long as I have.

No one should ever have to wear a diaper and a maxi pad to control heavy bleeding.

And if – you do – from fibroid hemmoraging- as I call my menstrual cycles then make sure you find or go to a doctor who will help you and listen.
