  13. Each Kitty's personality is so funny..Boo loves to chase things..Stella loves it when she has to go under something for the item.. Simba likes to sit and think about it..his arm was in the way of the track but he says hey i get it everytime this way..Outside of Boo's arches i think hands down of anything the cats have had those scratch n roll's have had the most use without question.

  23. LOL, my kid self would've been all for this. Hot Wheels or Matchbox were both great. Lucky Ferals, you could try a couple of Hot Wheels cars or Matchbox cars and see how they do. — There was also a race track toy that had a couple of race cars, battery-operated, I think. Various vendors and styles. I must have had several of these as a kid, wearing them out or losing something, whatever. Most just went around a track with a few curves, higher or lower speeds, but some had other features, I think. — Who know what will strike a cat's fancy. 🙂 Fun to try things. — The four kittens I have are 3 weeks old now. The anxious kitten might actually be getting comfortable with me. But the advanced one was very happy to be cuddled, while the remains two were so-so. — Saw one of the friendly strays but not the other.

  24. I remember the old fashioned hot wheels race tracks with hand held device to make them go. My grandpa hated it because it caused electricity across the old color TV (the one where you got up to change the channel). My aunt had a cat name Sammy (Siamese) and she loved pawing the cars off the track. I never laughed so hard. We could only play the track during commercials. My uncle David would slow the cars down and then speed it up, she would paw as fast as she could. I miss her, she was a great cat. Good ol memories.

  29. Placing the scratch-n-roll across the tracks: I feel like there should be a small dish labeled "Acme Bird Seed," with Wiley Coyote waiting for the Road Runner to speed through. Then of course a train or large truck barrels through, but as always, the Road Runner escapes and Wiley Coyote gets flattened but still has time to write a protest sign, then gets up and walks away. 😀 How giant cat involvement enters into it, I'm not sure. It is, however, more comforting than giant mutant ant involvement. 😀

  34. This morning, both friendly strays wanted to come in for breakfast and probably would've stayed. I did get them to go back outside. But likely they'll get to visit at times. Plus a semi-feral mom cat who may be one of the regulars, I wasn't sure; a grey feral who visits sometimes, and a new black-and-white, very timid, whom I've seen once before eating and once around the apts. Don't know if that one has a home or is a newly homeless stray. — Meanwhile, my two are doing fine, re-integrated, and the kittens are 22 days old and getting perky. Last night, even the anxious kitten was calm when held. So for now, we're doing very well. Also, now I know the two friendly males are fine with each other. I am pretty sure they and my two know each other, plus they are likely the teen mom cat's kittens' papas.

  38. I am trying to figure out if the cats are playing or are they watching you play?

    Ok now they are getting the hang of it!
    So the red flashing ball gets most of the attention. And the one bug. I looks like a good idea to try out. Thanks!
