  1. Im good with that tandem. Heavy investment in DE's to get QB uncomfortable and to throw ball faster.. Should make secondary life easier. This Mullen make or break yr.. He make it then we break him off the bag!

  2. With the quarterbacks in the AFC West, you better have a squad of CB's ready. The season is 17 games long and a lot of players get hurt at some point. We need more depth and another starter at CB or the Raiders D will get shredded like it has for the last several years. CB is the biggest need area, even more than RT or DT, just look at last year's KC games to scare you straight.

  3. Thanks for the video Carl! I am much less concerned with our CB’s than I am with our Safeties. #24 Abram is a liability in coverage. And, as hard as he hits, with his frame, he injures himself too often.

  4. Mullen is a strictly press man CB who has been in the wrong schemes since he got drafted. I seriously don't understand how professional NFL coaches and GM's continue to screw this kind of stuff up. It boggles the mind.

  5. All you guys talking about Bradberry, just stop already. It's not going to happen. If the Raiders wanted a veteran CB Gilly Locks (Pat McAfee calls him that) was available and the Raiders didn't get him. He's older than Bradberry but he's clearly a superior player, and he wouldn't have cost a draft pick. We're gonna draft one and roll with Mullen and Ya-Sin as the starters which I'm totally fine with.

  6. I feel like Mullen will be traded for a 3rd or 4th round pick probably during the draft, he’s in a contract year and this new staff is completely unfamiliar with him and has no connections with him, there’s a reason why most of Raiders pre-draft visits have no just been CBs but CBs that are mainly projected to go rounds 2-4

  7. I feel like we're so used to bad cornerbacks that you guys are giving Mullen too much credit. He is a PI waiting to happen. Anthony Avrette is gonna start opposite ya sin. Mullen doesn't take the ball away either. He's only held in high regard by raider nation. He's another fan favorite that won't be here.

  8. As good as Mullen can be, he still doesn't really seem like he's all in on being a part of the team. Minor injuries where he was supposed to be a game time decision for the team…he was dropping pictures on IG from his hometown on Sundays, so it didn't seem like a game time decision for HIM.

Also he's a liar, dropped a giveaway before last season started where he was offering tickets, airfare, and hotel, fan fantasy package type deal for you and your family. 2 people (and their families) named as winners, I was 1 of them, neither me nor the other dude got anything. Not even a jersey. Him and Connor Kroll the dude helping him run the shit ghosted us after the 1st week. Had a FaceTime with Mullen, had his cell before he changed it…dude is a lie.

  9. Rock seems like he’s ok even in some soft zone. He stayed as much as he can in the pocket of the receiver but he is definitely more suited to man press type. He doesn’t seem like a liability in a Graham style defense.

  10. Ya sin will get a different kind of test out here in the AFC west.. this isn't the AFC south. I think he's a good pick up and it was a need, we needed as far as our secondary. This division is stacked and it should represent the AFC in the superbowl. Metal sharpens metal! I think Mullen is gonna play great this year and he will play with a chip on his shoulder, with all this "bringing in another CB" talk. I'm excited to watch this team play.

  11. I have a feeling that we'll be drafting a couple more DBs.
I love Mullen, but he's been stuck with the wrong Defensive schemes with 1 inept and 1 vanilla Def Coordinator and he has to learn how to stay healthy. If we would have had him healthy vs the Bengals in the playoffs, we would have won that game.
For that matter, if the Ruggs tragedy never happened, I think we would have won it all last season. And actually, if Gruden would have never sent those stupid emails and got canceled, Ruggs would have never done something so stupid. And you know that Gruden would never have gotten outcoached like Bisaccia, Olson and Bradley did by Reid.
But what is done is done and gone.
Now we have way better management, coaching and players!!!
    I love it!!!
    Just Win the Superbowl, Baby!!!
