Rahel, Estha and Ammu, along with a bunch of other broken pieces of this masterpiece will be etched into the hearts of the readers. The writing is subtle yet penetrating. Every line is a story on its own. This work still speaks volumes about the casteism that prevails in India which unfortunately makes it timeless as nothing’s changed so far. The world still decides “who to love and how much.”
