I just got my first balrog kill in my Durin play through my character had 100 prowess which is cap (A great way to boost it is go down the theologian part of learning tree second to last ability is plus 10 prowess) and 43 martial and it was still only a 41% success and it did kill my dude even though it was successful
MAJOR ALERT!!! Hey lion before you fight the balrog, look at the great armory!!!! It gives prowess to the holder of the county!!! You can also build these outside of the Balrog area! You can go through all of the wandering phase again spending all your cash on building more of this armory!! Please do before you throw away this great character!!!
I've been having issues once Balin dies of befriending elves again to potentially slay the balrog. It completely removes the choice to choose "befriend" once Balin is dead. Anyone got advice?
I would wait for the Hobbits, seeing as the next release for ck3 dlc is the landless campaign. They may have their own take after that release. Either way Hobbits should be landless. Definitely gotta take the Hobbits to Isengard
In my game I took the restore Durin's throne option but the building didn't appear and while it does have a special building spot now, I can't build the throne, giving the reason that "it must be a castle, city or temple"
Which sucks, because I put a lot of resources into building up Durin's Hall
Hopefully this isn't spoilers, but the decision for unifying Durin's folk and getting that Empire title appears upon gaining a kingdom title (So killing the Balrog as it gives the Kingdom title will unlock it)
Please play as Maglor, and unite the elves as High King.

You said becoming a king won’t help with the balrog, but it can. Become a king, access royal court, add artefacts boosting prowess and martial.
I'd love you to do a Rohan run because if seems they always fall to Isenguard very early.

Enjoying this but what happened to Manor Lords?
