Just get a second battery and ND filters and you’ll be fine. REALLY suggest the DJI RC smart remote too, wildly helpful to the experience. Makes it way more fun, either smart remote is great just get one.

Could a firmware update bring D-LOG to the 2 tele cameras? That's holding me back atm.
Biggest drawback I see is not shooting in same picture profile when you want the most dynamic range. Cine version supposed to be aimed at pros… pros dont shoot in different PP's depending on focal length lol.
Especially if you're just shooting for a client, handing off to an editor. Dumping your footage in different PPs is not a great look (pun intended).

One of the other YouTube drone-related content creators mentioned that DJI will be moving toward phasing out (sooner rather than later) the previous Mavic-Line of drones so, unless a prospective buyer is willing to buy a used drone, after they sell off their existing new Mavic drones, if you want to buy a new Mavic, you'll basically have no choice than to buy one of these Mavic Pro drones.
I really wish that one of the other drone manufacturers would step up to the plate with a drone offering that even came close to the DJI's drone offerings. It would go a long way toward some price competition resulting on slightly lower prices.
One of the things I've wondered about this latest DJI drone has been, does it have the ability to operate within a "Buddy-Box" system of operation? What I mean is, can it be operated with two different controllers at the same time so that one controller can be used strictly for flying the drone while the second controller can be used to control the video or photographic aspects of a shoot/mission?

There is no Mavic 3 anymore. Discontinued- for obvious reasons – its kind of redundant, yet unnecessary with the pricing of the Pro. Just hope I can get a good price for a full Fly More kit with other older, stupidly heavy bag.
It is heaver and has a way bigger camera than Mavic 3 Classic. I wonder how well balanced it is for flying compared to the Classic ? Classic kinda feels more reliable.

You always talk about the two batteries being enough @QuickAssTutorials . I am doing a Roadtrip in a Van for the Van Company soon and I have two Mavic 3 Classic batteries now. Are you sure that those are going to be enough? I might need to do a few short hikes and I have no idea if the car battery can take it if we are charging 2 mavic 3 classic batteries at night and 4 air2s batteries. (+all the Sony Camera batteries) Some insight would be great!
Your reviews are fantastic, all the meat and potatoes without the fluff.
Personally I only need a true full frame sensor for those early dawn, twilight, and night shots. I am not interested in any telephoto lenses, if I want to get a zoomed image/closer image I can just fly the drone closer to what I am trying to capture and get a higher quality image from the significantly higher quality full frame sensor.
What do you think about using the less expensive controller with a ipad for exceptional image quality and having the screen Infront of the controller where it is more intuitive vs between your wrists where your wrists may obscure part of the screen?
Love your videos—concise, professional, logical, and well-considered. Question: Do you know if the M3P has the Dual-controller capability that the M2P has? I've not seen many videos of people utilizing that M2P capability, but I do and just LOVE the results. Takes a lot of practice with a partner, but once you're in synch on it, it's so useful. Along those same lines, does M3P also have the touchscreen/gimbal control the M2P has? Thanks again!

You will never see full frame on a Mavic body. At a push they may be able to go up to aps-c but at this point its diminishing returns and extra focal lengths are more useful for most photographers and cinematographers than a slightly larger sensor. But you knew this when you said it and it got me to comment so you sir are a genius 😂 great vid
