I lost my mom two weeks ago and one of my biggest fears is that I will forget things about her. It's comforting to know that you still remember so much of your mom.
Maybe should use sheet rock 45 or 90 especially on plaster walls, spackle is best for small holes. You are both doing a great job with what you have❤

I'll just say it squeezes my heart, in a good way, to see you two together, as my father & I don't speak, for reasons I won't say here. I've, also, lost my Mom, & my daughter, they were my best friends. My gosh the sound is getting worse very low and muffled now. Tracey my house has lath and plaster walls. What a mess removing it to put insulation in the external walls takes forever to clean up.

I laughed so hard when Boris grunted his "comment" after you said how you were going to paint that wall, and the trim, and the bannister!!! As if to say, "yeah, sure you are!!"🤣🤣😂 Anyway tell your Dad not to worry about what all the professionals might say because it doesn't matter! His way is the best way because he is doing it with LOVE!!! ❤❤❤
