Same message about Aladdin, which made over $1 billion despite being “woke” for having a middle eastern Aladdin. Also, Captain Marvel, again predicted to be a flop because of “feminism” made over $1 billion. Aren’t you guys tired of being filled with hate and obsessing over race, orientations, and inclusion/diversity. So weird to me that you live lives dedicated to how offended you are with inclusion and representation.
I wish these things failing could make me happy, but all it does is make me even more upset that everything that I was into has slowly been ruined over the last 5-10 years by idiots who never should've been in the position to do so.
Personally I don't really give a shit about this culture war bollocks and just wish everyone would shut the hell up about it on both sides. But if you want to look at it from a purely economic point of view: the majority of people in most western countries are generally socially liberal but politically conservative (and lets be honest, we're always and only talking about western countries in this war). That is to say, most people don't give a shit if you're gay or not, they just don't want to be told about it constantly. It's largely a "you do you" mentality. But in economic terms I saw stats the other day that said trans people make up about 0.3% of the American population and LGBT etc. about 7%. Let's put it this way, if your business model is to market exclusively to only 7% of the population whilst deliberately offending the other 60% of the population who are socially conservative, and 43% who don't care, then you're probably gonna lose money. In my personal experience of gay people they don't constantly talk about being gay as if it is the defining part of their character and want it hammered home constantly and for people to endlessly celebrate it, they just want to be free to be themselves. Most women aren't insufferable bores about how important they are and how they've been neglected by history. Look, if you twats want to re-write history, then go and sit in the corner over there and do it with each other, the rest of us grown-ups will stay over here and analyse history and society in a progressive and intelligent way and stop endlessly whinging about everything and anything.

Companies need to stop hiring SJWs and Liberal Arts major graduates, especially in HR and Marketing departments. They corrupt and destroy company profits from within. Companies also need to eliminate the made up Diversity & Inclusion Officer positions, they're useless.
I remember as a kid sitting in the El Rey Theater in San Francisco, when the preview for Rocky 3 came up. A lot of people groaned really loud like "not another one" with the whole auditorium breaking out in loud laughter afterward that was so loud you couldn't even hear the preview. Comparing Little Mermaid to Lion King is a dishonest argument. Not even the studio expected it to do anything close to what the lion king did. The Little Mermaid IP is nowhere near as popular as the Lion King IP. Not to mention that the Lion King remake had far bigger names attached to it than Little Mermaid does. A much more fair comparison for the little mermaid is the new Aladdin. That made less in its opening weekend, but still went on to make a billion dollars.
