I rarely comment on things ever but the old test track really was cooler
I wish they kept this version of test track. I never went on the old one but I went on the new one and it does not seem as thrilling. Everyone I ask agrees. Especially about the hot and cold room.

I saw the rivers of light show back in 2019, I was kinda bothered by the water screens showing the seen's of movies because it became harder to see the floats

I prefer the old test track cuz in my opinion you experience everything like bumpy roads, heat, cold, and the other thing. 2nd you could see how cars are actually built and how they were tested.
But is it really a FAIL when it comes to a Disney park ride? Even if I hear the ride/park/attraction/ect. makes want to visit it just that much more to form my own opinion on it. It’s like some movies that are so bad that they’re good
i prefer the old test track but my husband doesn't have the nostalgia attachment to the old ride and loves designing the cars 😆

I was there in 96, remembering how the track closed and still there when opened. Still have my opening day hat the company gave us!
World of Motion was just about 10,000x better than Test Track. 🙁

I had a chance to ride both versions of Test Track and from my experience, I prefer the old one. It just fit the theme of how cars are made much better than the new one. However —
Looking forward, I think the new Test Track fits now with the theming of Tron at Magic Kingdom. I see Tomorrowland like this: Tron reflects Space Mountain which reflects the Contemporary Resorts which reflects the monorail leading to Epcot which now reflects the new Test Track. It all blends together.

I realize just how lucky I got with the timing of my vacations because we we happen to just take our trips right after all of these things were done. When we went in ‘99 we didn’t even know test track was new.
