A lot is happening at the Walt Disney Company right now! The Disneyland Resort Avatar Experience has been teased by D23 as being on the same level as Pandora: World of Avatar at Walt Disney World.
The Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Hotel is not doing great when it comes to bookings and now the Star Wars Hotel is eliminating voyages because of it.
Plus, Walt Disney Imagineering is welcome back creative powerhouse Bruce Vaughn to the executive team to help co-lead the iconic division into a greater Disney future.

We’ll also discuss the Disney Cruise Line’s newest private island coming to the Bahamas.

  15. I am starting to think this is going to be a mini third gate in the Disneyland forward concept with Avatar as a starting point. This could also be something they can charge a lower price for families that want to experience Disney but at a lower price. Magic Happens

    I said since it opened that they should have off days at the cruiser where they open it up for the night. I would pay a pretty big price to be able to tour it and have some mini adventures. Then a dinner and show with time in the lounge etc. I am a huge Star Wars fan being a kid who spent a whole summer at the local theater watching the original. The two day adventure having to role play and make a backstory etc just seems exhausting to me and not fun. An 8 hour adventure from 8 to Midnight would be perfect!

  26. Magic happens! Also, I was curious about your thoughts on Genie plus. I agree that it is a tough pill to swallow to have to pay for something that used to be free. I'm guessing it is unfortunately here to stay, but do you think they'd ever include it with certain hotels like Universal Studios does? Also, I'm very interested in checking out the Galactic Star Cruiser, but can't afford to at it's current price. If they bring the price down, we'd love to go! I wonder if they'll do that at some point or just turn it into a more normal hotel, like you said . . . Thanks for sharing!

  29. it's not the same Disneyland anymore, financing the passes has caused the over population. It would be interested to see the net profits, what is the payroll of upper management, how much is enough?

Make the Star Cruiser a Star Wars themed hotel with all the characters including Darth Vader, Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie together… Yoda, and the Mandalorian and other Star Wars characters need to be taken advantage of to mingle with the guests… timelines are unimportant… you can come and go as you please and go to the park via the shuttle bus that they use and enter into Batuu… price it like a Deluxe hotel and stay as long as you like… restaurants can be separate and people that do not stay can come to property and visit as well… like you can now… I would stay there, I don't have to stay and pay for the interactive story I'm not interested in or care about…
