The Walt Disney Company is struggling to find an audience for both Ms. Marvel and its upcoming movie, The Marvels. With Secret Invasion collapsing in viewership, the Mouse House may be looking for some way to drive up interest via their flagship network. Is it too late though… and is there actually another secret reason for why the company is attempting this?

Dis is going to get blasted on #Woke and the wokies in the entertainment and mainstream media want to pretend the #BoycottDisney movement isn't working. They tried this early on in the #BudLight Boycott showing an uptick in AB stock, but that didn't last as we know #GetWokeGoBroke
All three are comic book failures – rebooted over and over again and never finding anything like a sustainable audience or financial success. Captain Marvel is by MCU canon old enough to be Photon's mom. Photon envies and promises to be like "Auntie" CM. (not her own mom) Ms Marvel is by MCU-TV canon young enough to be Captain Marvel's kid and she's apparently got stalker level envy of Captain Marvel and wants to be just like her. CM is openly hostile to men and fan's didn't like MCU CM for some weird reason. I know, let's do a movie with all three.
That will not work. Most of the time when people see something on TV/Streaming they will not go to the Theater to watch a movie about the series like with MS MARVEL and THE MARVELS.
Go ahead and put it on there, people might watch it and see how stupid it is and be sure not to go see the movie.
August is throwaway time. If they were really confident in this show they would put it on in the Fall.
Except for Loki, I don't believe the MCU knows how to make a consistent D+ or TV series.
For example, Ms Marvel could've been a good Buffy esq High School Teen Drama show but they instead put her on a side trip to India after the second episode in order to setup another likely big MCU plot thread.
Unless they announce that as part of the Movie, Rogue will be spending several minutes holding down Captain Marvel with bare hands.. and exiting her from the MCU with a comma… Then I'm not interested in the Marvels.
Disney is a drowning man disparately reaching for anything.
Seriously, I really don't think anyone wants this show/movie/whatever.

VR is always talking about Disney needing to find other revenue sources. This is 6hrs of ad revenue they are getting almost for free. Smart play for Disney. Also an unpaid ad for Disney+.

It sounds like Bob Iger is becoming a laughingstock amongst media CEOs. All because he didn’t want to relinquish power and still doesn’t. Pride cometh before the fall, my friends.
Turns out, the truism 'go woke, go broke' is aging just fine like great wine. The pattern is so obvious by now, it's tiresome: X studio makes a woke project, fans decry the ham-fisted messaging in lieu of good storytelling, fans avoid the project, studio blames fans, labeling them as toxic and whatever '-ists' that come to mind, studio refuses to learn the lessons, repeats cycle. Bonus: unexpected hilarity and entertainment as studios panic and scramble to save the bottomline. Who knew watching them pull their hair out because of their own hubris to be so funny?
Captain Marvel was terrible crap, but I really enjoyed Miss Marvel. I've watched it multiple times.
Brie Larson is ok stop picking in her it's Kamala can't you should be picking up too small too fat and I don't like her countenance

Haven't seen the 2nd trailer, but in the first it looked like they were trying to repair Captain Marvel's character. But they have the absolutely vile Monica Rambaeu front and centre as one of the leads – so it looks like it will be a complete disaster
