When the dreamlight duty of cook 2 meals or so on its cooked on the volcano stove it would not register for me as being cooked at all, i have to use a regular stove to get it register as i did cooked 2 meals. Also when you place the volcano stove outside the way to remove it its by putting a house on top of it so the house will take its place and the volcano will return to your inventory.

Just tried to cook on the volcanic stove. It cooks fine (so thanks for the tip!), however, do NOT cook quest recipes on it, because somehow it doesn't count on that. I had a quest to cook 10 candies and it didn't count on the volcanic stove. When I then cooked 10 on another stove, it did work. Now it wasn't a big deal with this specific quest (plenty of resources for candies), however, for some quests, you only get 1 specific ingredient from a character and you might use it up and then the game might not recognize that you actually cooked it if you do it on the volcanic stove. Just to be safe, only cook those specific quest recipes on a regular stove, I'd say!
Warning though. Maybe because I placed mine outside in front of my house,but when I cooked on it it didn’t count toward the quests that I was working on. I had to go inside my house, and cook on my original stove. Just fyi. 😬

No way! I’m lucky I placed it down exactly where I wanted it then! I also have a problem where I can’t remove a dinner table with items on it in my kitchen I hope the next patch fixes these issues!
thats what i really enjoyed about this stove was the lack of not needing coal cause you could burn through coal without knowing it
For another quest I need to do with Ariel I need scallops, but I cannot find any on dazzle beach!! What should I do I need 10 and I only have 1?

What if they design the volcanic stove to be permanently fixed there once you placed it down? And maybe from time to time, the volcanic stove will erupt and spew hot lava and burnt down your house and all the items inside the house and you have to restart everything all over again? Buying another house and upgrade it and have to re-craft everything again. There is no such things as a free lunch (i.e. no need coal to cook). It sounds too good to be true. Oh yea, if it is something from Scar, you better don't trust him. Everyone in the valley already warn you about Scar. Ignore at your peril.
Not sure when this was recorded but looks like the devs found the volcano glitch. Can't be purchased from Scrooge. It's not even in the items.

Omg make sure you don’t put it against wall or I placed it the wrong way. I placed it and I couldn’t use it since it was too close to the wall.
if you place it out side of your house you can force a remove on it by placing your house or a wishing well on it :3

What a nasty surprise! I missed my chance to get a duplicate! I won't be placing mine because I want at least 2 more, one for my Lion King room and one for a Sunlit feature.
Not sure if they fixed it but I just got the volcanic stove and went to buy it from Scrooge and it’s not there! Dang it! But the stove itself is a dream. No more coal 😆

Volcanic stove now need coal to cook. No free lunch for you. They give it to you, give you a tight slap and take it away from you. Told you Scar is up to no good.

Since they updated the game, it now sadly USES coal… GOSH DARN IT!! And here I bought well 1,000 coal from Kristof's stall and nearly sold all but 200 because I thought i wouldn't need it. I was wrong!! 😥😥😥😥

You can move the volcanic stove by replacing it with another piece of furniture. it will then be returned to your storage. (you’re welcome)
It now requires coal they fixed it in the update.
They just fixed this so you have to use coal now.
