Re storybook magic: I have a tip for anyone who hasn’t started the dlc yet. Before you unlock any of areas covered by large ink spills there are 2 tasks on rotation for 200 magic a piece that involves catching snippets (3 bird and 4 any snippet) complete as many of these as you can before the snippets stop spawning (I caught 117) and ended up with over 10k magic. Just remember to not unlock any areas as once you do the tasks will rotate out with the tasks you can complete in the bind

The same thing happens as the books in all the biomes. Especially near the hidden well in the first mythopia biome. Forage seems to mostly spawn where the trials are too. I get practically nothing in the main parts of the biomes except for the stuff that drops from trees.
I would definitely recommend for starting out that you only clear 3 inkies at a time and claim them immediately, as another claim 3 inkies popped up for me until I pretty much had done the whole library & Meridas quest then the clear 3 inkies stopped spawning as a duty but I had over 2000 before I even did anything!
Is anyone having a glitch where you have the duty to clear the inkies, but they never count? The duty just says 0/3 no matter how many I clear.
8:20 THANK YOU I was telling my fiance this last night and he was like “but I just want to focus on the quest” walking around looking for flowers to spawn every 20 minutes 😂 like no sir you need to be doing those duties if you are going to try DDLV again 😅 and now he’s complaining that we don’t have a mini map or a compass 🤭
All great points but I do disagree with the second to last one about the role thing – I believe come part two that we will get the conversion thing you were talking about with the snippets so having the 3 main villagers with the snippet role will end up proving beneficial for us but nonetheless if it is you can always use a crafting book later on to change it to that so it’s not a big deal of course
Yellow tale cone flowers are not respawning…the digging memories that have three slots on them are not unlocking…today which is day two for me the inkies are not counting towards the quest where you have to clear 3 inkies

I've noticed that when I clear inkies, I don't always get a reward. I have to wonder if that's a glitch and I should be getting magic
I randomly found that out yesterday because I was trying to put Chernabog inside the library yesterday. Sadly it was too big but my drums fit. Please don’t ask why I was trying to fit a mountain inside of a house
I hadn't noticed the flower glitch. The only glitch I had was when I would pick up certain journal papers i would get a coin from the memory instead of the page. No big deal, I reported it and assume they will fix it by the time the second part releases. lol
Is Pegasus true color scheme Exclusive to the bundle only ?
I am a first timer thinking of getting the game/ bundle . Would I need to do some quest to still attain Pegasus or is it gifted right away ?

I fed a Pegasus Bouillabaisse and it counted as a favorite meal. Wonder if the game recognizes shrimp as meat? 🤔 I just need a baby dragon desperately lol

Fall is my FAVE time of year. I love the colors and feel of fall and I’m also a huge bookworm so this DLC is really hitting it for me 🥰 I haven’t played too much yet so I don’t know how many fall foliage items they gave us to decorate the Vale with or if we will be able to craft fall decor but I’m really hoping there are lots of pretty fall trees, shrubs and the like. I’d also be thrilled if there were new cool book themed items to decorate with to add onto the base decor.
AIW is also a huge draw for me so I can’t wait to see the biome with the Tea Party theme 😍
I will say my daughter was very sad to see this time the secondary accounts didn’t get any of the purchase rewards. Last time they got the rewards. She loved the Rapunzel capybara. She really wanted the baby pegasus this time and I bought the $50 pass thinking she would get the cute companion as well. She got nothing other than the ability to play the Vale. Very disappointing for her 😢

Glitches I’ve found are when your buddy is going to throw a snippet at you, they run away from you first , I asked sully to help me fish and he never followed me or helped, while doing hades quest for shovel he stood in between wall so I had to talk to a rock, I almost missed him when I saw the star floating lol, then Merida followed in my home but only stayed in front room while I went in the other and I could see her through the wall watching me and waving lol..
I so agree I wished they would let us dig or some how get more storybook it’s a lot of time getting all the magic to use it to open up areas
I have a feeling eventually you will be able to convert Snippets into Storybook Magic.
Tip: if you need memory orbs, very easy to dig with a potion anywhere in the new dlc ❤💜💙 keep digging there is currently a glitch that increases the memory drop rate DRAMATICALLY

I know maybe I'm a little bit late, but just in case someone else is having this glitch: Every time there is some type of task that involves inkies, the only ones that count in my game are the ones from The Bind, so if there is a Storybook Duty that involves removing three inkies, it only counts if they are in The Bind, if I remove one from Mythopia or Everafter it doesn't count. So I suggest you check if you have that glitch just in case, so you can save the ones in The Bind for the Storybook Duties. (Btw I play in Nintendo Switch)

Anyone else loose their story magic when they mapped to old valley.
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, when catching snippets if you use the spin move it stuns the snippets for a short time so you can catch them. It may not be that crucial once you level up your slow down pedestals, but it was helpful at the beginning!
i play on steam and my scrooges shop in storybook vale has not given me any items from storybook vale only ,I'm only getting items ive had since before i got the storybook vale dlc . Anyone else having this issue ?
