Why is this an incident? A news outlet, albeit a YouTuber, tried to interview a "celebrity" and she didn't like the questions. Women complain about negative attention but revel in positive attention. Men accept negative attention and "man up" without crying about it.
If she has a mental setback because someone was mean to her then she needs to get out of the public spotlight. How is she not safe at the airport? If she's worried about safety, go through the security checkpoints and you'll know for sure that nobody has a weapon.
Wait, did she say subsidies for the WNBA? Does she not know that the NBA is already subsidizing the WNBA and has been since the WNBA started? How about this? Let's use federal tax dollars to protect the WNBA and to fly them in charter flights.
Does the WNBA use different airports than every other celebrity? Plenty of so called celebrities travel on regular flights and they deal with negative people all the time.

Hey, I disagree about the Brittany Griner, thing. I saw the video and while I am in no way agreeing with the hate she is garner which is utterly ridiculous. Every professional athlete deals with heckling. Every famous person does. She isn’t getting a special kind of hate that wasn’t thrown at any famous person in my opinion. The security guard kept the guy away from her, but you can’t stop dumb people from doing thing like that. The small guy yelling at her isn’t causing her physical harm. Paying to charter the one teams flights (Which is the commissioner is adamant the league can’t afford) (I know this is one team versus twelve but still)). Seems like a bit of an overreaction. If the fan was court-side he’d be thrown out a if the fan was online you’d have to ignore it.
