The smell of mint is something that I absolutely love and enjoy. However, in perfumery, the use of mint might be challenging, particularly when it comes to a perfume’s longevity. Any note of mint in a fragrance is more likely to vanish very quickly unless it’s done properly or missing the good quality in raw materials. Amouage is a world renowned brand out of Oman and produces some of the finest niche fragrances. Enclave is one such example. When I first watched the trailer for Amouage Enclave, I knew I had to grab a bottle of it. Enclave’s perfumer, Julien Rasquinet, translated a natural phenomenon into a fragrance and in my opinion, has done a brilliant job. When the land meets the ocean, there’s a bunch of things happening. From the sound of the crashing waves to the smell in the air.

Enclave is not your typical designer fragrance. It’s truly a royal experience and a journey into the moment. Amouage fragrances can be challenging at times, but Enclave is very versatile and elegant. The complexity and the way it develops over time is simply something different. Must try fragrance from Amouage.
