Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
2 Peter 2:18
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
Revelation Chapter 14
3And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
Reading what Simon Peter speaks about those that are clean escaped from them who live in error brings to remembrance what the Son of God said here in John 15:3 and it sounds like a prophecy and a testimony about the 144000 being redeemed from the earth not being defiled with women and redeemed from among men. Amazing indeed with that truth.

Several years ago, because of several years of betrayal, pain and loss, I was so discouraged. I came across a book that was a great help. Its title is DISAPPOINTMENT WITH GOD by Philip Yancy. It's a study of Job. I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with their faith in horrific circumstances. This message is excellent.

Glory to the Lord
God doesn't cause storms. He is not responsible for the deaths caused by Hurrican Katrina. He built the world and essentially set it on automatic. To claim otherwise, God would be responsible for such unnecessary suffering. It'd be like the arsonist who sets fire to your house, then puts it out for the accolades. That's hardly commendable. Furthermore, God intervening to save him from cancer is not the same thing as God causing his cancer. God can intervene without him causing the calamity.
Would really need some prayers right now !
