I’m so happy you guys covered this one! It’s so cute! I’m glad you liked it! Li Yu’s inner monologue is hilarious; I love how he refers himself in the third person but calls himself “fish”. 😂
My favorite part about this book is when Prince Jing realized his beloved pet fish was actually a “carp spirit” and immediately went, “I see this as an absolute win—wait, how do you take care of a carp spirit?! Am I being neglectful? Must make sure my pet spirit is happy and healthy…also he’s kind of hot…” what a guy!
Not sure how I feel about getting changed in front of the puffer now😂😮
I love this novel!! Although it is so fluffy, funny, and light-hearted, there are many layers to the story, not that simple and straightforward fluff if I may say.
I got this book as a joke to read "ironically" and i ended up so invested!! its so good!! and so cute!! Its now unironically one of my fave danmeis
