  1. to be honest you always show what you are printing but you never share how you setup the exposure settings etc. for each time you are doing with some new printer , could you share as well the settings for exposure?!??! don't be so damn greedy!!!!

  2. You can get the same effect when you dont wash your prints before curing. It needs just a little more time to harden up.
Im also not sure why you was printing that Pokemon upside down, so you have to cover it in supports.

  3. That's a pretty cool idea. I had a Chun Li in kikosho position project in mind, and I wasn't sure how it would come out (too mate, would painting ruin it, etc). Seeing this strategy makes me think I can pull it off! A bit of dye and laquer should do it.

  4. I don't have a lot of money to spend on
Lacquer so I have my grandpa pass into a bucket 🪣 after a long night of drinking
Then I just dunk my figurine in and presto
    I still where a ventilator
    His pee smells horrible 😫

  5. This is basically what I did with my hour glass exterior I painted it on with a brush. I know if the print is hollow you have to do both sides so you can pour some in, then pour it back out. I used Polycrylic.

  6. without any experiments it was clear for me that the results would be the same as any clear glossy finishing coat spray. The difference between this can and spray can is only viscosity corrected by adding more solvent into the spray coat for easier application.

  7. The only way to have perfect cristal-clear transparent prints is to use clear resin as you do, but use XTC3D epoxy coat, the result is perfect. I tried many varnishes, but I do'nt know why, the XTC 3D is the only one who maches perfectly.

  8. I posted this on clay's project brother and thought it would make for a cool video For enhancing your dip process:
Thanks for your video, its awesome, i got an idea how not have to worry about the drips as much. The idea is this in a diferent project with tumblers where they put to much of paint or what what ever, they have this thing that rotates the tumblers so you dont gt the drip effects. Second part of the idea is instead of how they basically do a tumbler, since this is more 3 dimesional, have 2 rotating so it basically rotates thru all 3 X,Y and Z axis. i think you and jessy could do this and you would have overall less work, but the front end would be more mone but in the end i believe it would take less time and be more awesome looking. Please feel free you DM me. I have just started my own resin printing journey but i research alot of different things, do give me a shout out

  9. Just had a thought. He mentioned bubbles which is also a problem with epoxy resin. Some epoxy resins have a long enough work time to use a vacuum chamber to remove all the air. Since uv resin doesn't cure the same way, has anyone ever tried using a vacuum chamber on the resin before printing to see if it does anything? Just got my first resin printer the other day and actually can't find anything online about this.

  10. I will regret this. But flowerpots as hats made me iykyk… Ahem…
    Now whip dip it

    Into shape

    Shape it up

    Get straight

    Go forward

    Move ahead

    Try to detect it

    It's not too late

    To dip it

    Dip it good

    Carry on, Youths. ô¿ô

  11. If you really looking for glossy an even coat, you can try penetrol mixed into the laquier. It will slow down the drying time but its one of the reason it will be so even and glossy. It works as a retardant.

  12. Yo if you ever wanna revist this idea. Try 2 part epoxy and use mica powder instead of ink, a little mica powder in a vat of siraya tech blu clear v2 will give you a perfect tinted translucency with some nice shimmer(once sanded or coated). You can deepen the color by adding some mica powder to the epoxy or use a raw clear print with a tinted epoxy coat to achieve a very light tinting effect. I particularly recommend the blu resin because its viscosity does a much better job at keeping the mica powder distributed for longer print times(i've done 7h prints with no noticeable fade in color from top to bottom).
