Hosted by Nimble Dick Crabb and @GreyWasteTim , there is stuff about squishers in here and the Borrells and RLJ but honestly I have no idea what has happened here. This is all Dick’s fault.

Only half listened to this but did you cover off water surfaces in ancient mythology/belief acting as a barrier between worlds of the living and dead…underwater being the same as the underworld. Squisher descriptions have a lot of dead body about them, we have the whole iron born dieing rebirth, things from dead world coming and stealing babies/mating with living things and vice versa…its all very nights king/queen wall crossing romance just a bit less cold but more soggy. Also the Trident…is there anything in the symbolism for a sea king (Neptune) from that battle? There's lots of life and death flow (and possible resurrection on the quiet isle). Did Davos actually drown (twice?) as well, is he a resurrected fish wight? Losing his fingers , is that POINTING to anything other than the general pile of spare body parts being scattered across the books? At Skagos will we get a living dead fish goat hybrid onion baby?
Three crabs has the stew
What a wild ride that was 🤠
Me crying at David's voice like a kid after dad shaves
Idk who made me a squisher for a month but I love you ❤
The algorythm bows before the splendor of this stream.
This was awesome, ol nimble Richard had me crackin up the whole 2 houra
Wow. Another Oscar worthy stream. You guys Rock 🙂
A comment for the algorithm gods, both old and new.
Please do the Squisher Iceberg stream in full Nimble Dick and Dunk voices
Love Davos chapters ❤ thank you guys!
I just have to…. Jojen paste is people!!!!!
LOL, LML, You and Tim's squishy Davos and Borrel voices were giving me Bud Weis ER frogs flashbacks 🤣
Effing funny stuff. Love you guys so much ♥️
The "stones with green beards" is givin me mad Eldric Stoneksin vibes yo
The cowboy hat 🥵
At 1:19. So funny. 😂😂😂
Nimble Dick reminds me of politicians who are pro conversion therapy and anti marriage rights that get busted methed out at a twink orgy.
Brave of you to do this before your brain is done rebooting. That Weirwood Paste lasts a while, but at least it's organic. Great job! Ever since a very foolish fools day, I've loved me some anti-squisher ranting; from a very Crackclaw-minded individual.
I recently learned about the fomorians and strongly suspect they may provide some influence for George in conceptualizing the squishers.
Just figured it out. The Squisher that will aid the long night is Shereen because she has “The Mark”
Sister stew sounds like a creamy gumbo after hearing the recipe.
Dude literally feasted on bread and wine until Frey pie. Best thing he’d ever tasted.
Awesome voice acting! So entertaining!
Is there any relation to the 4 sons that Davos loses and the 4 kings that die during the war?
RedNeck LML!
Just caught up on this!
Firstly… Dave you commitment to the nimble dick role play was fucking GLORIOUS!
And secondly god i was happy when i realised this was a you and tim thang!
He's my favourite guess you have on! Absolutely love his videos aswell, But both of y'all together on a video is pure Gold!
Love from Australia!
NimbleDick!!! Too funny
This is….
Where is Gatehouse Amy??
Daemon stabbed Aemond in the good eye.
I don't think the "filed teeth" are filed at all. They are ofcause part squisher -the women of the Thousand Island, Biter and the kids in the fighting pits in both books and House of the Dragon.
Give us a new squsher spin-off show: House of the Dagon.
The ghost story of Mad Axe at the Nightfort, could refer to a squisher. The only noise he made came from the blood dripping from his axe, his elbows and his wet beard. Maybe it is just water dripping at first? Perhaps they come from the bottom of that well… In Brans imagination there is some aquatic beast down there.
It could also be a reference to the Other's ofcause. They move silent. Or a wight. But the Other's are also water beings, just frozen, and perhaps they start dripping if they come into a warm house?
What do you guys make of the Valaryons? Squisher dragon hybrids? I think House of the Dragon gave us some clues with the strange shaped sculls/helmets and the funeral.
Love Davos
Also what has happened to Joe Magician?
Hugely appreciative of the effort Tim and nimble Richard put into these videos, that David isn’t too bad either
The best Collab ever. We want more Tim!
Don't mind me, just screaming about "He Played all 7 Tremors"
There was a point in Tim's "Thing in the Pit" video where Carter mentions "tremors." And in my comment I stopped myself from asserting that all the "corebaby/subterranean weirwoodnet net" stuff was GRRM conflating Lovecraft and Graboids.
This is the beast beneath the boards. The boards are the subterranean ww roots, and Davos traipsing on the worn out Myrish carpet is foreshadowing the impending crackin' of this web within the crust. A "3-headed dragon" is a hydra of sorts. The "stone" the dragon is born from is the ground beneath our feet. GRRMs blurring deep Daegons and underworld daemons. The three sisters that sunder the land are its three heads. The subterranean wwnet is or is held together by fungal hiveminds, a trope grrm loves well.
So Borrell is a triple entendre. Boring into earth, the earth bore dragon babies, and borrell mushrooms. The castle's called Breakwater bc the planet's "water" is about to break. The same water that the gods are mating in, causing storms. The thing in the pit will get a hellfire birth. This thing is a newborn celestial body. A new moon. A red comet come again.
Which does get into all the double entendre. The hammer of the waters is what planted the seed for this eventual waterbreaker.
Take all the time you need to get through 2 paragraphs, loving every minute! 😂
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST
Dave – your vocal chords! You did that voice THE ENTIRE 2 HOURS?!? Absolutely mad lad – built different – total unit.. I'm in awe of your commitment to the channel, commitment to the bit and hope you continue to thrive in all things you do.
@greywastetim : stellar per usual. You inspire the very best in me and someday, I should like to have a flagon of sour wine, a feast of warm soups and a long stroll through nature to discuss the higher mysteries and the greater writings of the giants that came before us.
I wish you both good fortune in the (twitter) wars to come and hope you're able to keep your head up and stay positive despite the cesspools and SQUISHERS OH MY GOD THEY'RE ALL OVER ME AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Finally caught up on this channel! I absolutely loved this! Nimble dick sounds like a relative of mine here in Alabama! And amazing as always GW Tim!! What will y’all do next??
Another great chapter re-read with voice acting!
Good to see Nimble Dick again.
egg, egg I dreamed I was muted
I'm not sure if this has been talked about before or if I commented on this previously but I have nowhere else to drop my super deep thoughts about Meerish rugs so here goes. Meerish rugs became interesting to me after I considered the word play between Meerish and "Mirrorish". If you imagine a "mirrorish" carpet lying on the ground, it looks a lot like a pond or a puddle. In my brain, "the literature" that pre-establishes some of the symbolism for carpet-like, mirrorish ponds is CS Lewis's The Magician's Nephew, where a pair of children come into contact with magic rings that take them to 'the wood between the worlds', a wood littered with carpet-like, mirrorish ponds. When the children jump into the ponds, they discover they're portals. The first one they jump into, they find a world that's been destroyed with statues of the dead kings and queens. The last person left in the world is the evil person who destroyed it. She follows the children back to Earth and plans on destroying it, but her powers are limited. The children attempt to flee to the wood between the worlds, but she continues to follow. They jump into a pool that takes them to a void, which the evil person recognizes as an unmade world. This is where Aslan the lion manifests and starts singing and Narnia is created. The singing, the evil lady wanting to take over worlds, and the dead kings and queens of old are all reminiscent of a greater fantasy mythos that George also seems to be loosely drawing from, but I mostly wanted to talk about the portalescent carpets of a song of ice and fire. The idea of portalescent ponds, to me, screams the Green Sea and the Weirwood Net, and since thinking about it this way, I've wanted to read back through wherever Meerish Rugs are mentioned to find what Green Sea symbolism may lie about.
What about Davos himself? He survived a drowning in Blackwater Bay? His last memory is that his lungs fills with water… Sqisher! Drowned man! In the next Davos chapter on the little island that is one of "The Spears of The Merling King". That could be a good reread if you want to look for more squishers! Davos himself talks about "the gods beneath the water" in that chapter if I remember correctly! The Merling King is also considered a god by the way.
Dammit LML, now everytime I re read these books all I see is symbolism all over the place… Thanks a lot!
These nimble dick streams seem to get out of hand. Not sure about the Salador voice but great and entertaining as always! I think nimble dick persona allows lml to indulge his natural funny, chaotic and conspiracy-minded personality aspects and even though I would not like this from most streamers, it's good from lml and gets better as nimble dick lore builds
Sorry for second comment, but lml interrupts, goes into classic ADHD chaos-detours for first hour then tells his guest to hurry up anytime he speaks. I don't mean this as mean as it sounds and I don't mind it because you know it's just part of the deal, but it is funny and sometimes charming and always relatable.
You cannot beat the pirate vs. Squisher dialog in this stream! Great voice acting and an overlooked chapter full of symbolism, well done!
