There’s less than one month left before EX8 and if you haven’t started researching I’ll be breaking down the set into numerous videos for you to learn about the individual cards. But in addition to that, I also provide some theoretical deck concepts that might make their way into your deck for a preliminary start. With the beginning of time, it’s the Dinosaurs! Tyrannomon, Metaltyrannomon and Dinomon!

  1. There is a lot of fun which can be done with the Dino deck that Ive had in mind. The first of which is parasitemon to re-enable the fortitude if for whatever reason it goes down. Plus it gives you another juicy dp boost and gets a swing. Personally i prefer the newer taigas since the original Taiga from bt1 does not give piercing to Dinomon while the new ones also make it easier to digivolve up for cheaper.

  2. EX4 Agu is Dinasour trait not Reptile, so Tryanno would evolve for 3 cost, a bit too expensive imo, also the Tyranno X let's you evolve on attack to a lvl 5 for 2 cost, then Ryutaro let's you evolve again to dinomon for 3 cost, going from lvl 4 to 6 in 5 memo isn't that bad for 2 checks (3 if you have master), popping digimons along the way and gaining inmunity with MetalTyranno, also taigas reduce even more the costs of evos

  3. I feel the Green Base actually has more utility, without losing the aggression the deck has, and offers ways to counter the opponent's possible defense.
Also, while it looks like it works well with the deck, that Red/Yellow Agumon isn't a Reptile Trait Digimon. Apparently the Data Squad Agumon is a Dinosaur Trait.

  4. im hyped for tyranno. Rust and christmas tyranno were some of my favorites early on. The green agumon from bt11 i think, shouldve been ale to add tyrannos. I get it was supposed to be more lore accurate that they can digivolve into lots of things in those games but still.

  5. Update for this deck profile concept!
The ST7 Agumon and EX4 Agumon are DINOSAUR trait Digimon. I think I was doing theory crafting across multiple browsers and downloaded the least optimized version.
For this variant of the build, you COULD keep them but your Tyrannomon Digimon will cost the full 3. This is where the scrambles will be handy XD
In that regards if you don't want to use scrambles for Agumon to Tyrannomon (which I mention in the video)
You can go ST1 Agumon and EX1 Agumon.

ST1 Agumon is just +1000 DP as a buff.
EX1 Agumon when attacking can reveal 3 and add a Digimon with Agumon (like Bond of Bravery ACE) and any tamer.

    Have fun players!

  6. I always love Tyrannomon, and always wanted to make a deck around it.
after the reveal of MetalTyrannomon BT11, it makes me craving for the deck even more.
the Rustyrannomon ACE also seems like a really good card.
but somehow, after a few testing with a friend's deck, I can't really play it. maybe just my skill issues, but it also struggle in our locals or even national competitive scene, dunno why.

but with the upcoming Dinomon and all of this LIBERATOR support, I hope I can finally see my T-rex boy become viable!

  7. I feel like the black Agumon from the starter deck would be worth mentioning, especially if running the red/black memory boost!

Also I just have to mention as well, but BT14 Tyranno making evos cheaper the entire way up to level 6 and not being once per turn also seems ridiculous. Imagine going into Tyranno X on top of this after start of main, swinging, evo for super cheap into ultimate, and then if you use Ryutaro, go into your level 6 for 2 less because of BT14 Tyranno and Ryutaro.

EX8 Tyranno and Tyranno X both probably need to be at 4, but the last champion spot is a tough call imo

Part of me is leaning the red base since we just can't afford to bottom deck Ryutaro. I'd hate to use a red training and then bottom deck my EX8 MetalTyranno though.

If Ryutaro was green, would've been super nice. But look at dude, that's a red character if I've ever seen it lol, can't wait for Dinomon!
