It´s working pretty well so far! There´s an annoying bug that makes it so every digimon you convert or evolve have the carefree personality, and that doesn´t let you do quest that ask to have a digimon with other personalities in the farm. Not game breaking, those are optional quest. They are working on a fix and I think you can use cheat codes to fix it, so worth keeping in mind.
Edit: Used a cheat code posted in reddit by the translators and that let´s you get different personalities, so if you don´t want to wait for the next patch you can just use that. Of course it may be wise to wait and see if other bugs apperar.
I hope there's a English translation patch for Digimon xros red and blue soon
hope they fix the bug with the attack strength visual when in fight. Only thing that i kinda dislike in the game ist theres a limit how often you are allowed to evolve a digimon und you cant skip or fast forward some repeating scenes like plate cleaning

My heart is forever stuck in digimon world, the sequels were so different that it didn't capture me the same way. I don't like the new remakes because of the changes that offset how the flow of gameplay can be. For example the one where in you train two mons at the same time, if one dies and one evolves you now have an in training with your ultimate. They kinda desync and it ruins the flow of combat until you get them resynced or you are forced to use a lower and higher form and possibly struggle with the lower form enduring combat.
Anyone know if the xross one is getting translated too?

Old story games didn't differentiate Signature Skills from common ones so you can just have a bunch of weird movesets.
There are already some emulators that have support online functions, but not full-on netplay so you mostly only do things localy with 2 windows of emulator opened (GTS works for pokémon games though). The people at MelonDS said they plan to work on it now that they perfected local multiplayer, so maybe someday we'll be able to use all functions of these game with random people in the internet.
Seeing Digimon Story stuff again reminds me of when Jaiden played Dawn and had their horrible experience. An interesting fact about the Digimon Story side of the franchise, Dawn & Dusk were the second entries of six total Digimon Story games, the last being Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory. Lost Evolution is the third in the series and the only remaining untranslated Digimon Story game is the fourth, which was for the Xros Wars generation of Digimon. Hopefully since there was a 3 year gap between Dawn/Dusk and Lost Evolution, the dev team have optimized things a bit more.
So far it looks okay; definitely a very pretty opening with the festival and fireworks. It felt very anime; not sure how else to say it. lol
