While I hope we see something with the game, I’d also like to see some anime news.
I know gaming isn't the primary focus of Digimon but its the only section i personally care about. Loved the anime as a kid, up till Digimon Tamers. But i'm mostly a gamer these days, not so much into anime.
So i hope Digimon takes advantage of the Monster taming hype recently and at least reveal something about the next Digimon Story game.
The only game I really go back to nowadays is Digimon Dawn or Dusk.
It’s tough out here for Digimon fans in my opinion.
What Digimon games has everyone else been playing?
Honestly baffled they don't at least port the PSX games to Steam with some QoL improvements like Sound Effect controls and maybe an Exp multiplier for DW2 and DW3. Like, Digimon World 1 and especially Digimon World 3 still look kinda passable for 25 yo games and people would love to mod them.
Even if we don't get Digimon story news… I'm still curious about the survey project. Not all is bleak for the series

I think it's possible that Bandai Namco is going to keep the Digimon games segment on the down low, because they want to surprise everyone and they don't wanna spoil anything, at least that's what I think .
Im hoping for a show that is like digimon tamers or data squad my 2 fav digimon shows my fave game was digimon world 4 so something like that would be nice or one were you have to live in the digital world

The schedule seems pretty lackluster (I hope I'm wrong).
Digimon is MADE for survival series.
Remember that Digimon Con isn't an announcement showcase like a Nintendo Direct, it's just a celebration of the franchise. Things could get announced or they could not.
If no news for the next Story Game appear, then at bare minimum I want to see something for the card game going digital akin to what Konami's Yugioh MASTER DUEL is, but far better than what Konami settled on.

I understand Bandai Namco taking their time w/ video game production but they would be making so much money if they ported more older Digimon games to current day consoles.

I don't think you get a game like palworld by following the market. You get a game like Palworld by being passionate about what you want to make and just wanting to make a fun experience. So many triple A games are failing because the passion isn't there. Like it was before. Developers and higher ups are to worried about trends and following the market that they fail to capture an audience. Pokemon followed the market so closely they realized they didn't have to put time and effort into games to make money, but it seems now with their reputation on the line. They may try to improve.
I hope they'll somehow come with a surprise. Because dang we NEED another Digimon Story game AT LEAST
If this new Story series game sucks im not gonna be mad but I’m going to be sad for sure. We know the major complaints for Pokemon games is that they’re half baked and rushed but still have good enough content to keep people buying. If digimon had years to work on this game and didn’t rush it, and it still sucks it will break me

As much as I'm desperate for a new Digimon Story game, I'm not getting my hopes up, always been disappointed by Digimon Con. But I can't watch Digimon Con this year anyway, so I have no reason to get hyped up and get disappointed anyway.
