kinda find hillarious that on the japanese digimon tweet they basicaly copied the same pikachu tease for pokemon presents but this time is agumon. i love the touch but i find funny.
Digimon kinda stems from games, its just in a niche format (sorta like how arcade franchises are)…
I'd say folks need to expand their horizons but I don't have high hopes for V-Pets to take a major role this year…

That was kind of an odd thing for me to hear, but you're right. The origin was as a male centric tamagotchi. Little digital pets.. Which brings me to something that has baffled me over the years. I'm aware of Vital heros, but I do not get why bandai never made a digimon raising app for phones. The existence of smart phone should have been a slamdunk for the series. With AI developing rapidly, it's an even better time.
Personally, I'm only really interested in anime news. Video Games will come if they come at this point. It's their loss, with the way they've been handling the series.
I don't usually have high expectations, but I look forward to news about Liberators and the card game.
im gonna give a charitable thumbs up on this video because i like ED, but i have zero interest in digimon and have felt this way for years they dont care about me as a player in the west, so ive made a point to return the favor for well over a decade now. However I LOVE PALWORLD im gonna go play that game right now!

Digicon has been basically the music stuff the last couple of years. Its more of yeah digimon is still a thing, heres some plusies, kay chains and the butterfly song.
They also aren't good at doing any sort of media for digimon projects.
All i hope is a new digimon from liberator or a tease for the digimon world game.
An important thing to note is there will probably be something big. This is digimons 25th anniversary. The only catch is whatever they announce may not be big deal to us in the west. The japanese have a very different market and sensibilities us and japanese ip usually put their home market above others. Digimon is especially known for this. Basically im saying is dont necessarily expect a huge digimon story trailer or new anime but bare minimum expect something big and exciting for japanese fans but not necessarily for us over here.
One thing we can expect however is to have fun and spam emojis and beg nonstop in chat about ps1 digimon remasters as always. Right up until a they mute us or a trailer for it suddenly shuts us all up. 😂

Seven years is a lot of time to put into a single game.
Habu got fired for spending 6 years on Digimon Story 7. It's now 7 years into development. Ken Levine (Bioshock: Infinite), Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid 5), and Keiji Inafune (Megaman Legends 3) got fired for far less development time.

I have no hope or expecations at all more than anything ever for Digicon we get what we get.
I just want to hear more of the music, personally. Digimon music rocks! If we get games announced, I will ASCEND but I won't be too down if we don't.

Digimon Survive came out in 2022 , can't believe i haven't even finish it yet and i like Visual Novels . My problem with it is that i had to format my hard drive twice so i lost all my saved data and didn't had time to skip all dialogue to where i was , its way too much text and choices.
Still enjoyed what i played of it before losing my saves.
Digicon this year will be weird Habu ( previous producer) left or was kicked out from the franchise so he won't be there anymore being honest with all of us , new producer , and the events they have programmed don't have any game listed at all.
Habu did said the game director is still working in the new Story game but it has been 2 years and no updates.
Seems like Bandai is giving up on Digimon slowly

I’m definitely not going to go in with expectations essentially with regards to the games since Habu recently mentioned he’s no longer the director (so I imagine the game segment will basically be the new one introducing themselves) but I’d accept being pleasantly surprised.
