Digimon Card Game BT15 Top 16 Deck Lists! TAK Games Oceania MAY Online Regionals

I'm a black base believer too. I tried the purple base and it just did not feel right to me
Cool seeing someone play Shinegreymon ruin mode turbo
I'm also at a loss when it comes to purple base Nume. I love purple decks, but black base just makes more sense to me
26:20 based take
Thanks for the shout out Risu!! To answer your question on the digi bubbles, the tokomon draw came up all the time. It's incredibly easy to heal and keep turn in this version of seccon, so you can get a cheeky draw from tokomon and then punch in with the rookie. It's much more reliable than viximon, because options typically pass you turn, or you just dont want to use the options since they are mostly removal.
dont tak have a discord server or up todate web?
The Ruin Mode list is meant to be very control heavy.
You don’t really want to attack with BT12 Marcus, but you can if it helps turbo into Ruin Mode.
Boosts over training because the deck typically loses to itself when you can’t find pieces. Digging four deep is better than digging two deep.
Wyverns deals with things like Mirage Burst and Fanglong as they’re both 15k typically.
I’d just look up Digisean37(?) as this is essentially the list he uses.
Hey Risu, personally after playing both Black and Purple based, I found that Purple was just getting me there that little bit more constantly, in this meta I found myself starting turn with between 3-5 mem between Satsuki, Gabu, and Ukko, where in Black Based I would start with considerably less, as the floodgate Rookies outweighed the Agus. I also found that the Rookies in Purple were a little more expendable, as they helped to set up the trash by dying in security, so I was able to chip the opponent down quicker in Purple Base as I didn't feel the need to keep them back for evo or floodgates, getting the value off the swing outweighed keeping them on board most of the time, and on the off chance they lived, my opponent now has to make the decision on whether to take them out, and slow down the clock a bit, or leave them to go for security, which sometimes would pop out a bigger threat. This then let me run the higher top end as I can pitch them for more draws, or just drop cards from hand to minimise Mirage, even though I didn't see it all day. To me it just feels like there was more space for me to play with in the Purple Based version, and going 5-1 (7th) this time over 5-2 (14th) last time showed to me that it was still working the way I wanted it to. I will admit, I was a little unsure when picking up Purple Based as I did feel I'd miss the easy evos, but when actually playing the deck, I found that it didn't matter too much in the end. The hard play Nume being something you are used to in this version made it easier to just slam one down turn 1, or even late game for rush Satsuki win or Kimera win, so I found that the mentality to not worry so much about the evolve helped there. I hope this gives you some insight to where my mind was going, not sure if I've explained it well, cause sometimes you just get in the zone and it just works😅
Thanks for covering the event!! Really happy to take 1st Place for NZ & Christchurch! Met some cool people during these last two regionals and that was great.
Btw, Hammer Spark did amazing, but not gonna lie, playing that one less Lv 4 can be an adrenaline rush sometimes haha. Still feel it's the right way to go, Hammer Spark clutch a few games.
P.S, Vamo arriba Uruguay!!!
