  1. Samuel L Jackson has definitely been in one absolutely horrible movie.. not because of him though he definitely did the best he could with the absolute mess of a script.. Sam Jackson is the ONLY even SLIGHTLY redeeming quality of Snakes on a plane

  2. A personal recommendation for a comedy i know you will love. You remember how much you enjoyed A Fish Called Wanda starring John Cleese, i suggest you check out another of his comedies, Clockwise (1986).

  3. This is my favourite Die Hard with the first one a close second but I also love the fourth one. I don't think it's far off the first one in terms of quality and it has another great ensemble cast. I highliy recommend you watching that too. The fifth one wasn't great but as far as brainless action movies go, it's not terrible… Just nowhere near the standard of Die Hard, Die Hard With a Vengeance and Die Hard 4.0.

  4. Fun Fact: Laurence Fishburne was originally offered to play Zeus but wanted more money to play the character – so one of the films producers (Andy Vajna) held out on the deal. Meaning the role went to Samuel L. Jackson instead. Mr. Fishburne later filed a lawsuit against Vajna's company "Cinergi" for reneging on a verbal agreement. The lawsuit took 2 yrs and Laurence received a settlement.

  5. You don't remember anything he said and we never heard what he said … because you cut that part out. Ummm … a questionable edit. I would have preferred to hear the puzzle and see if I could figure it out.

  6. THANK YOU Ashleigh! You're entirely correct, Die Hard is NOT a Christmas movie. How do I know? Because if you remove Christmas, the film still works perfectly fine. 100% agree.

  9. The original ending for the movie had Simon actually win, taking the gold to Germany. A year or two later (On Christmas I believe, funnily enough) McClain, now fired and blamed for Simon's escape, finds him in a bar. He pulls out a rocket launcher with the sights removed so both he and Simon don't know which end is which. McClain plays the same game that Simon played with him all the while Simon spins the rocket on a table. After answering McClain's question incorrectly, John pulls out his gun and forces Simon to push the trigger on the rocket. The rocket was of course facing him, and blasted a whole right through him.

McClain then stands up and leaves whispering "Yippee Ki Yay".

  10. This movie has an alternate ending, you can find it on YouTube. Both endings are satisfying.
Samuel L Jackson is the hardest working actor in Hollywood, he holds the record for appearing in so many movies.
