It was part of the trap. They began to learn. They adapted to the idea that the Service Member was an enemy, as they had no other way to express their anxiety/situation. In their adaptation, being once human they had sense and it was again, part of the trap. It's considerable to assume that some of the infected were prior Service or of some sort of intelligence.

This is wayyy scarier to me and a lot of us than the zombies. Like zombies can get shot and die, but that freaky freakin mannequin actually started moving somehow, you gotta get a whole woodchipper to kill that thing man. Also his insanity making him freak out as he and we saw the freakin mannequin MOVE bro hell nah.

What is terrifying in this movie? The monsters or the moving mannequin? The way that mannequin moved was suprising and creepy.
